The fact that Eren did his best even if it were to sacrifice the whole world for the sake of Eldia and Historia and his friends future but still was no point. Cuz the Continent was still wiped out at the end. So then, his friends and Mikasa trying to kill him is also no point as well cuz their ancestors was not seen a single remorse or mercy when the world was bombing Paradis Island.

I know they were just kids and were probably going to die anyways, but what was that money actually worth at that point? Either way, this whole scene makes me laugh lol

Love how many of the comments said that moments like this made you realize that just like real life, no one really has a plot armor. Even Eren didn't have one. The only reason why he survived his supposed death in a titan's mouth because of his destiny.............to later die in a titan's mouth. Zeke was right, being alive means dying eventually.

The Attack Titan has to be one of the cruelest powers I've ever seen. All of the immortality, madness and crap can stand aside. Being able to see into the past and future, figuring out that not only were you, from years into the future, responsible for the greatest atrocities the world would ever see, but responsible for the very things that fueled your rage and caused you to unlock that power, years ago, is terrifying on a different level. Eren saw that he decided to let his mother die. He saw that he mentally broke his dad and gave himself this power. He saw that he would kill all these people, and that he, in the grand scheme of things, would contribute to the cycle. He couldn't break it, he couldn't change it, the only thing he could do was look at all the innocent people around him and wonder, "I turn out to be someone who could give the order to kill all these people?" it's so absolutely gut wrenching because while Eren did kill all those people, he wouldn't in a million years have done it on his own. Only someone so incredibly spiteful could have done that, and the horror was realising he'd turn out to be that someone.

Smh. I get why he did it. I just really wish there was another way smh. His priority was to protect the people he loves. And the people he loves are deemed "enemy #1" In the world, no matter how you place it. His method was extreme...but really what other way was there. The ending sorta proved that with him failing, the island of paradis ended up be wiped away in time anyway. Atleast his loved ones did end up being safe and experienced freedom. Idk

It's honestly amazing that you can get goosebumps, cry, make your jaw drop, and irritation from this specific anime, definitely the best anime ever, The OST, Story, Plot Twist And Lore, EVERYTHING! But it's quite dissapointing that it wasn't in the top 3 best anime of all time.

Honestly feels like eren thought he was the special child before knowing there were other children outside of the island then to keep being "special" he eradicated the world in my opinion. Kind of psychotic more delusional and outright simply plausible. Show seems to outwritten itself than normal. Aton already died at the island what else couldve brought more death than the authors desire to cause more death. Eren envisioned life to be better after defeating titans except it's like an ex that wouldn't want to let u go. Since the girl that was the first titan wasnt to blame i can conclude its very dumb to assume the "source of life" did it, since the girl was just trying to live then what else that wanted other than the will to live is just the author's perspective. As some would say silence is the best alternative.

Omg this idiot had the super powers to do everything he wanted and the only thing he did was kill 80% of humanity to make his friend live and for his island to fall into war again. He could literally remake the whole world order into something that fits them, basically a more sustainable future for him his friend and their island without killing innocent ppl. But he did what he did just because “it is what it is”

Seeing those titans walking over mountains miles away would be horrifying. Just the existential dread alone of seeing such a massive threat that's not even close to you... but you know it will be soon enough. Those people must have been running for hours before the titans eventually caught up. Imagine the adrenaline and absolute terror you'd feel the entire time.
