I have found that the newer versions… Newer styles have a much warmer application of shaded biscuit and I think a lot of other people have noticed the same.

That’s actually a hand tied top on the longer style, which does make the knotting very visual.

I think the Color application of 17/23SS on the shorter style is different than most other applications in this color. This looks more like British Milk Tea that is very drab in my opinion at least in the one that I have and it’s usually not this dark and dull. It is a bright and light application with cool platinum highlights with a lot of dimension and very similar to the shaded biscuit except it’s cooler toned so I’m not sure if these two are a good comparison, although these are the two that you have so this is all you have to go by. Also, like you said, that is a very warm application of shaded biscuit which happens. I have some that are very cool toned and light and bright and I have some that are warm and dark and shaded biscuits so you never know what you’re going to get.
