    There's lots of shopping in Jackson. Last summer was very usual for Wyoming to get so much rain. Great advice booking ahead for a vacation through Wyoming. I'm a local. Love my state. For the people who like seeing wildlife best time in evening's. During the day, most wildlife likes to lay down out of the heat of the day. Go Big Red! The tram is awesome winter or summer.

      You are SOOO lucky to live there with all the mountains. Oklahoma is such a long haul to get there. I could have used that tip about evenings & willows years ago. I almost never figured it out. Though I would never see a moose! I’m convinced, in Jackson Hole, the best way is to patrol the Gros Venter River in the evenings, and watch for one, or a group of people pointing and taking pictures. All that rain was crazy! It’s usually, pretty much, bone dry in August. I rained at least part of the days, for 5 out of the two weeks we were there. I REALLY need to move closer. 2 hours away beats 2 days away! 🤣 Thanks for taking the time to drop a few kind words and I can’t wait to bring you guys some more of my hard earned cash! 😆 Moose Anderson

    If you are going to have a passion in life this is it. Beautiful nature! I think of all the people who spend their lives at Disney, either in a fake park or overpriced cruise ship. I have never in my wildest dreams understood this. When the true beauty of our country is outdoors. Not in a manufactured park or floating amusement park. Enjoy every second in the great outdoors and teaching your children what is of true value! Yes indeed, even Mr. Crow gets an earful, in most cases, well deserved! 😅😅😅😅😅

      I couldn’t agree more! I love the great outdoors. Had to make this 2nd movie as there is just too much in this region to cover in one visit. My wife still mentions places like Las Vegas & New York which makes me cringe. So far, she is not really complaining. I think she is starting to have her world opened up to her. She was a beach person, but now I hooked her with the mountains that I grew up with in the West. I want to see God’s Creations, not man’s creations. I don’t think we have the same skill set as Him!!! 😂 Yes, I am Mr Crow! As I stood there filming, the thought went through my head. What else could it be. 24 years of marriage and I could totally relate. I never understood why as a man. We are angels and never wrong…yet here I often sit, having my ear crowed into…or Ravened? 🤣😂🤣😂 Thanks for appreciating the sarcasm, and my movie Sushi! I’ve got some good trips and movies coming. Thank you Candy. I’d rather you go in person, but I hoped this would fill the gap for those that couldn’t. I had never considered Yellowstone but my mom offered me a free trip to go with her & my stepdad when I was struggling as a young man of about 33. I couldn’t hardly afford an apartment but I couldn’t ask for more as I knew it could be a whole lot worse. I just had faith and worked hard and now things are good. Still no Mercedes or mansion, but not bad for a redneck in Oklahoma! 🤣 Well let me tell you, Yellowstone was amazing and really touched me. Funny story, I skipped the canyon and falls on that trip, because I really didn’t know about Yellowstone. Never even peeked inside of a book or seen any pictures. I had already seen countless waterfalls and canyons in the Tetons and Yellowstone, so I figured I didn’t need to see another one! I had no clue it was actually so massive, and the literal namesake for Yellowstone National Park. I honored my mom in the credits, I owed it to her. It crushed me that she was so far gone from dementia, she saw a few minutes of the movie, but I’m not sure she understood that I was the one that made it, nor if she even knew who I was. I can barely talk about it now. So I will stop! It was a labor of love for both Yellowstone, as well as for the memory of a mother, who Blessed me with a trip to Yellowstone, and being the best mom I could have ever asked for. Happy belated Mother’s Day to everyone, as well as you, even if your only child, is that beautiful, white fur baby in your icon! 🥰 Moose Anderson

In September, they start to run out of stock on tourist stuff like tshirts and such. The first trip I ever made, was without her. I went in September and although the weather starts to get unpredictable, like all the rain this August could be remotely predictable, September is a great month! We have already discussed why our next trip will be in September. She is willing to forgo a few tshirts, and see the Aspens turn, the risk of smoke decrease, and clear blue skies. Hi Lynne! Gros Ventre road along the Gros Ventre River. In the past, I tried the stake out method, park at one spot and wait for hours. That covers one single spot, in a huge area, so sitting at a place like Blacktail Pond Overlook is akin to winning the lottery. Really the best method is driving, since the actual spot one shows up is so random. Moose love to eat vegetation along rivers and ponds. It’s still going to be random, with a lot of luck, but Gros Ventre seems to be the best bet. Better than Moose Wilson Road, where parking after you see one, can be near impossible. Gros Ventre Road is the road north of Jackson, that goes east from the traffic circle, and takes you out towards Mormon Row, Gros Ventre Campground, Kelley, Slide Lake, and the Shane Cabin. You may get lucky and see a group of cars parked with people pointing and photographing. You may be the only person on that section of road. Just keep your eyes peeled and remember it is luck, random, and you are in a high probability area. Gros Ventre is the best place, followed closely by Native Jewelry in Jackson! 🤣 🫎 Anderson

      Thanks Ben for the encouragement. I’m hoping to get better with each film. Still trying to find a way to not get flamed by people for the music! It happens with every film, but I’m pretty sure people would like the silence between narration worse. 🙂 Your compliment is appreciated. I absolutely love 30a, and look forward to returning. The beaches are amazing, but the houses & parks are amazing in their own rights.

Boy can he tell you some stories about tourists and wildlife. Crazy!!!! I told him after we visited the park that I wanted to put up a cabin and live near the Madison river. Hi Debra! They have the menus online on their websites. I have tried filming them, like some TH-camrs, but I felt the quality was just not as good as viewing them online. I also don’t like feeling rushed reading them, where as online, it is a more leisurely process. I’ve tried filming the food too, but half the time, I’m half a plate in before I think about it! 😂 I also have to learn how to make a movie under 3 hours! That would allow for more menus & food. I just feel like I’m playing the TH-cam algorithm and that feels like playing the money game. ☹ To be honest though, I’m not sure you could go wrong at any place to eat on the gulf. Even a hole in the wall can be a seafood haven!

Most people can’t take 2 weeks off work. These were very long days in August, so we had lots of daylight to do it. By watching the other Yellowstone movie on my channel, it shows how much stuff we had to skip in the first trip…and we still did not get it all in. 😂 Honestly, you could spend a day, sitting by a brook, having a picnic and staring at landscape & nature, and not feel like it is wasted time. Why is Seaside overrun with teenagers? It didn't used to be. Have you been to the Old Florida Fish House later in the evening? It's a nightclub. Everything closes by 10pm (usually 9:30pm) because the town doesn't want the late night parties. I've seen the problems 30a has a Spring Break now. If you want that kind of vacation, go to Panama City just up the road. The bars are open all night. Please leave Seaside and 30a for the families. One of the best things about this part of the panhandle is that you have the options. (1) Want to party and spring break? Go to Panama City Beach. (2) Have older kids that want water slides, amusement parks, mini golf? Go to Destin. (3) Have young kids or adults looking for nice peaceful beaches and towns? Go to 30a. Please do not make everything a party.

      Seaside has just become too crowded with too many kids. Seagrove is more chill and laid back. Seaside has no where to expand is what I think is the problem. It’s surrounded by WaterColor and Seagrove. Kids just cram into the food trucks late afternoon & evenings/nights. I did the same when I was young. I don’t blame them. I just don’t want to be in it, so I prefer to stay outside of the hub, and stay in Seagrove.

    • @deshipe
      @deshipe 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MooseAndersonProductions I agree. We've been staying in Seagrove the last few years. If you are lucky, you can get a place that includes a golf cart. If not you can rent one for about $700 a week. There's specific free golf cart parking at either end of Quincy Circle. It's preferrable to parking a car. Of course now seaside has lots of golf carts, so I imagine the town will have to take measures to stop them. Rosemary Beach doesn't allow golf carts as an example

    • @MooseAndersonProductions
      @MooseAndersonProductions 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those golf carts look great! Easy to get around in and with the towns so close together, they would be perfect. I didn’t know they were not allowed in Rosemary which is crazy, because they allow cars! I’m not sure why no golf carts. They sure won’t ban bikes. 😂 I wish 30a was still a sleepy little secret, but with jerks like Moose Anderson posting videos on TH-cam, the whole world will know! 🤣 I lived in Sarasota for 4 years and was a Siesta Key freak! I honestly think 30a is every bit as white & beautiful. The whole area & vibe are perfect. Sarasota is big really, like Destin or Panama City. 30a is perfect and about the crowded Seaside, I shouldn’t complain, honestly. Try any National Park! The crowds are just nuts anymore…everywhere one goes. And our little of secret of 30a, is out of the bag! 😭@@deshipe

Seaside has a better beach, where they will spend the day, bikes and trails for when they are bored with the beach, and after dinner & shopping in Destin (30 minutes away), you can unwind at the condo in Seaside, while they mingle around the food airstream row trailers in town at night…the hang out spot. It is honestly a great hotspot for teens, but you guys will love the charm of the smaller towns on 30a yourselves. Very beautiful & relaxing.
