The Biblical Theme of Remembering
มุมมอง 100หลายเดือนก่อน
Like most cultures, the biblical culture is full of holidays, observances, and memorials. But in the Bible these all share the same themes: REMEMBER your God's great acts of rescue and respond with covenant obedience. This video is a journey into the very essence of biblical faith...and a challenge to REMEMBER and to pass on the content of this faith to future generations.
Freedom: Part 4
มุมมอง 1123 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this 4th segment of our Freedom Series, we dig into the language the Bible uses to describe the freedom God brings into our lives. We learn the most often-used Hebrew words, their meanings, their synonyms, and how biblical authors use them to create beautiful, powerful, poetic descriptions of the Freedom-Bringer AND of the freedom and abundant life He planned for us. We also come away with a...
Freedom: Part 3
มุมมอง 934 หลายเดือนก่อน
After we discussed God designing and creating humans for freedom (Part 1) and being set free FROM certain things and TO another set of things (Part 2), this video traces the high cost of freedom. A pattern emerges in the Bible that reveals a consistent, intentional plan: deliverance/redemption/ransom/rescue (= “salvation”) typically involves a substitution-the sacrifice of something or someone ...
Part 2 - God’s Version of Freedom: FROM something, TO something
มุมมอง 1214 หลายเดือนก่อน
He is not a God who is an anarchist and who calls us to disorder. Rather, He sets us free and then guides us into living healthy, fulfilling, fruitful lives that KEEP us free and glorify Him! After a quick review of Part 1 in our Freedom Series, Part 2 unfolds God’s plan and purpose for our lives. Join us as we learn His plan straight from the Owner’s Manual!
Freedom Series | Part 1
มุมมอง 1624 หลายเดือนก่อน
God’s plan for humans is that we live FREE! In this first of four episodes, we trace this prominent theme from Creation in Genesis through the Exodus, the return from Babylon, and throughout the New Testament. Along the way, we learn all kinds of helpful stuff from the Hebrew language including a brief critique of Michael Heiser’s Unseen Realm, a book that has taken the Evangelical world by sto...
Psalm 23: Part 3
มุมมอง 914 หลายเดือนก่อน
This study is guaranteed to change the way you read this psalm and cause you to want to walk even closer to such a good and trustworthy God! In this final segment, David moves on from his use of shepherding imagery in the first 4 verses, and in verses 5 and 6 his images come from his life as a king and as a warrior. As we follow DAVID’S points of reference in these last two verses, a powerful m...
Psalm 23: Part 2
มุมมอง 1305 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this second of three videos on Psalm 23, we cover verses 3 and 4. These verses again immerse us into David’s amazing use of language and imagery from his early years as a shepherd. We hear more about how good our Shepherd is, what the “Valley of the Shadow of Death” is, the 4 reasons it is so dangerous, and why we don’t have to fear ANY of them. All this allows us to see clearly how Jesus, t...

Jesus’ Parables About Fathers
มุมมอง 1896 หลายเดือนก่อน
Revelation about the Fatherhood of God didn’t start OR stop with Jesus. Still, Jesus’ parables about fathers give us the clearest perspective on this important aspect of God’s nature. This study will inform, encourage, and challenge ALL of us-father or not!
Walking after the Rabbi: Walking in the FORGIVENESS of the Rabbi
มุมมอง 1566 หลายเดือนก่อน
In the episode “Walking after the Rabbi: The END of Discipleship,” we saw the constant high standard Jesus set for those who would “walk after” Him. But is all lost when we fall short, and miss an opportunity to die to self and lay it all on the line as He did? This episode reveals yet another side of the Father AND the Rabbi that provides hope for forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration!
Walking after the Rabbi: The END of Discipleship
มุมมอง 2036 หลายเดือนก่อน
This episode of the series “Walking after the Rabbi” gives serious consideration to a theme that runs throughout Jesus’ teaching: the expectation that we “walk after the Rabbi” up to and including martyrdom. Hearing Jesus’ constant calls to take up OUR cross and follow Him are the perfect antidote to easy-believism, discipleship-light, and no-cost Christianity!
Resurrection: Evidence from Outside the Bible

Charlie Brown's Linus vs. Oxford Scholar Alfred Edersheim....seriously ??? ...both can be true, the Shepherds (who may well have been Levites) were at Migal Eder, in the environs of Bethlehem (or "the Pillar of Rachel"- Gen 35:19-20, and why "Rachel is mourning"over Bethlehem's ("her") slaughtered male children [ Matt 2:18]) .....and Jesus was born in Bethlehem proper...you're just jealous, because you weren't taught any of this when you earned in your "Phd-agree degree" at a some silly short-sided "Evangelical" Seminary...i.e...it's just not your idea...how could your "brilliant" teacher's have ever missed this?...and how could of you? ...the blind leading the blind...[Matt 15:14] BTW:...the swaddling of lambs and the baby Jesus in priestly garments is pure, (thus harmless) speculation- and fully admitted as such by "Rabbi" Jason Sobel ( the only person I know who teaches this)...but, much more relevant, in the New Testament, "The Last Days" started with 1st CenturyJesus [ Heb 1:2; Acts 2:17] not your so-called "End Times" dispensational speculations...

He just doesn't get it. Micah 4:8 clearly states that the location of the arrival ("...it will come") of the King's "dominion" (the culmination of the Davidic line in Messiah) is at Migdal Eder, the Tower of The Flock. This cites a specific location, near Bethlehem, and must not be generalized as a reference to Israel. Yes, "migdal" and "edar" are used separately elsewhere is the OT, but here they are used together, thus referring to a specific place. To equate Migdal Eder with all of Israel or even to Jerusalem (Zion) would be like saying that New York City equates with all of America. Is Evangel U. really liberal, or is Dr. Nunnally's Judaistic leaning clearly influencing how he reads, or what he reads into, OT prophesy?

Personally I like the midgal eder version. It could be as real as the very catholic nativity story we get every single year. As there are a lot of things unsaid in the Bible, there’s no reason why this version couldn’t be real. For me this version adds so much complexity in life to it just as we know who God is and how he operates. With layers and plans with plans, complexity and ideas and thoughts we above ours. Whereas the nativity version it’s just flat, no life just empty.

Why are you including Christians as prayers not being answered? Christ is our high priest as explained in hebrews. Thats exactly the whole point of why Christ came, to replace the levi priesthood. If you don't know that basic concept, it makes me question what else you don't know. Like maybe you didnt research all of the talmud if you don't know Christ is the high priest. as far as The zohar, the 1300s is closer the writings which may have not survived than 2020's, without the smithsonian hording everything. You also look twisted emotionally as you give this presentation, like you are upset and need others to agree with you for some reason.

Interesting just listened to some of the breakdown about Michael Heisner on Doreen virtues channel Listen to Doreen over the years didn’t realize she’s afraid of comments that’s interesting. My opinion, this breakdown should’ve been between Michael when he was alive kind of late now it just becomes one opinion about a person who’s not there to help break it down. That’s not right.
