Landing at Napa County Airport | Cessna 152 | KAPC
Flew the 152 to Napa to practice flying into a towered airfield. I watched a Gulfstream G650 depart and a Bombardier Global Express arrive during my short stay at the airport. Temperature was much cooler than Tracy at the time at 70°F/21°C too.

We planned on taking our new boat to Inasakan beach, but it didn't go as planned due to some technical issues. We still had a blast though and can't wait to visit again in a few months. I decided to bring the GoPro's along for today's $100 hamburger flight to Woodland in the Archer III. I missed making videos for TH-cam. We go to Woodland every Sunday nowadays to unwind and get our flying fix. I'll make a video flying our PPonk 182P here next week! Dad finally got to take the 182 out for a quick traffic pattern. Its first flight in over 2 months. This PPonk Cessna 182P is powered by a 260hp O-520 engine. It only needed 180meters to take-off with two onboard and 40 gallons of fuel with the wind calm. Landed quite nicely as well and exited in the first intersection of Plaridel's runway 35. Subscribe!

That was incredibly short…. Any techniques? How much do you need for takeoff?
Thanks! This landing was from quite a while back so I can't remember the specifics that well. My dad usually landed with full flaps and retracted the flaps right after touchdown. Also, this 210L was equipped with a Horton STOL kit that helped him to approach maybe 5kts slower than usual. Can't remember the takeoff performance but we were always airborne before the intersection we exited in.

Hi! I'm looking to become an airline pilot in the future. I do my flight training in the US during the summers because I'm still in college in the Philippines. When I get back to the US next year, I'll stay until I get finish up my commercial certificate with instrument rating. I fly for fun with my dad here in the Philippines but I can't log the hours since I don't have a Philippine license yet, only an FAA PPL.
@@lanceguballa Are you planning to get a Philippine/CAAP license? Or just an FAA license then work at an airline in the US?
@@teodalemelsilvestre7268 the plan is to get an FAA CPL with IR and convert it to a Philippine license so I can apply for local airlines in 2024 :)

Great job, fantastic video. Private pilot here - out in the East Coast. I see more green when I'm flying haha. I noticed you calculated in your head when to begin descending. As a pilot, it is one of those things I'm still working on. What do you do in your head to decide when to begin descending? Again, great point of view in the cockpit, I may have to consider that spot for a camera!
Thanks! People have different styles of doing it but I judge my TOD based on the altitude I need to lose and a vertical speed of 500fpm. I had to lose 2500ft to fly over the airport at 2000ft. 2500ft ÷ 500fpm would mean I would need 5mins to lose 2500ft with a constant groundspeed. When the ETE on the GPS was at 5mins, I started my descent from 4500. I ended up over the field at 2100 because my groundspeed went up a bit as I got lower.
