@valerie_nwanafio Nothing yet 😭. I tried to call Hayya and they picked up. All they did was check the application for me and confirm that the picture and passport images were ok and that the application had no issue. It was just going to take some time but it will be processed. They asked me to wait but nothing has changed up to now. Then a travel agent in Uganda said there was a general delay of 4 weeks. I don't even know what the truth is anymore 😫. I plan to call again on the 16th. Do you know anyone who has received an approval recently? Also, do you think I should try cancel and reapply ( has that worked for anyone?)

No, I don't think there's any part of my video it was mentioned as a necessity.

It usually takes between 5 days but there's a variation of timeline depending on the visa applied. A1, A2 or A3 and your friend's nationality.

You cannot apply in second person for Hayya visa. All information provided will have to be for the person that is travelling and the data will relate to the type of visa being applied.

You can get visa on arrival, you can also apply for A3 visa to Qatar as you're living in UAE. No, you don't need to book your hotel from discover Qatar website. A1 visa is taking a long time from some complaints I've gotten recently.

Do note Hayya visa is not a standard work visa. If you're searching for a job, note you have 30 days (A1 visa) to 90 days (A3 visa) to stay in Qatar. Even if you do get a job, you need to leave Qatar and re-enter with a work visa. So, goodluck on the reason you choose to fill.

Discover Qatar booking is only compulsory If you are Indian and you are applying for visa on arrival, asides that. It's not compulsory. If you booked a hotel outside discover qatar and want a refund, please seek from the hotel as I don't know about it.

No it's not, except you're looking for a visa on arrival visa & you fall under the countries listed in my video requiring discover hotel booking. I.e India, Thailand etc. If you're applying for A1 tourist visa, you may stand a higher chance of getting your visa approved with a discover qatar hotel booking but it's NOT mandatory.

Click the blue highlighted part👇 under Document information and read the "instructions to upload my Personal Photo and Passport" There could be a variety of issues from image size to clarity etc. Check and correct the mistake you may have made when uploading your photo.

@Success1615 apply for a good job from Nigeria e.g LinkedIn; they will process your work visa. Or if you have a family living in Qatar to apply for a family visit visa.

@OmaJim Hi, thanks for your feedback. Do note they are different types of hayya visas, as explained in the video. A1- Tourist visa A2- GCC resident visa A3- Visa with ETA This delay/ challenge might be linked only with the A1 tourist visa, so making a generalised response is not ideal. The authorities are also at liberty to approve or reject any visa application like in every other country. .. You'd be able to cancel your discover qatar hotel booking if you cancel 48 hours before your check-in date, if you are yet to get approval. Read the cancellations terms and conditions on the Discover Qatar website under Hotels for Hayya visa. www.discoverqatar.qa .. Hayya visa fee is paid only when you get an approval. For those that have family/ friends host accommodation in Qatar, no hotel booking payment is needed. Hope this helps.

if you're flying Qatar airways, you can visit their intransit desk to request for a transit visa in Qatar.

Qatar hayya visa does not require travel insurance. Only health insurance, and the health insurance is only 'mandatory' when you're staying more than 30days.
