This was interesting! Where did you get all those miniatures? Like the Gotal, Chiss, etc. Did you 3D print them all? Or are those regular toys from other sets that just happen to be good for this TTRPG scale?

I like your videos. To me, they are the best videos on going solo RPG. I like using systems made for multiplayers as a base for doing solo RPG, rather than using systems made specifically for solo RPG.

My "herioc" approach has been to roll 3d6 but no score lower than 9. Same thing I guess 😊. That said, if my AI prompting is correct, it suggests 3d4+6 results in a higher average outcome (for a significant set of rolls) than 3d6. Maybe I should use your idea 😊

I really like how you approach a published module. I have been reluctant to try it myself. I am going to process this video and see if I can make a published module work for me.

I like Wisdom for ranged combat. In ranged combat you need to "see" or "recognize" your target before shooting. Like when the police trains. They want to hit the criminal but not create collateral damage. That makes sense. Ideally every attribute has something mechanical to give. About the Armor class and dexterity.... In the meanwhile I prefer systems where DEX does not add to AC.

One thing that I am thinking of implementing is that anyone may be able to use a spell scroll, but only wizards/clerics can memorize it for repeat use. Thanks for a "look under the hood" about how you adapt these systems for your own use.

Great to get a look at your kit! I liked the idea of generic cardboard circles that you can make "whatever." I'm thinking they'd be great for healing potions (or charges in a medikit for Star Trek/science fiction). And I hadn't thought of just writing hit points or damage taken right on the token. That would work SO well in combat. And happy gaming!

It appears possible to have an image on more than one face of a mug. Goto arrange design, select front, right, or left, click design and choose an image. The site seems to be showing me three images on the mug. It increases the price.

I was never a WoW player, but my brother-in-law was one of the addicts of which you spoke. He nearly lost his entire family. He was lying about playing, skipping work, skipping church, skipping family time, chores, everything. He was able to overcome it, but glad to hear you noticed your own behavior in that regard. It is a real thing. My problem is buying games I'll never have time to play, lol.
