Any tips or fancies for Ayr on Saturday?
80/1 tomorrow and guineas for chancellor with hills seems generous
@@jamesoconnor2367 yeah if I wasn’t on I would have a tiny roll of dice. There does seem to be better than him out there but if he wins today then it’s not out of the question
Another great video mate, Pretty much agree with you with everything apart from the Irish champions stakes and I think economics wins and wins well, Don’t like backing 4 years olds as 6lb weight advantage is a lot so that puts August Rodin out of it, Los Angeles needs a bit more cut in the ground and 2 furlongs more, this is just a prep race for the arc and unfortunately can’t see him placing for you, I think the dark horse and biggest danger to economics is ghostwriter, ran an incredible race lto with a bad draw and not really settling either, he’s got the perfect trip, perfect ground and should go close, you are right economics is too short of a price but gladly got some cards at 5/1, think William haggas has pulled a masterclass in missing the derby giving the horse time to Mature and because he’s such a big horse he needed time to fill out, listen to Marquand after his last run, he said the horse settled better but most importantly when he got into top gear he was much better balanced and in the Dante when he got into top gear he wandered a little, economics is a strong bet for me and the looking at the market at the minute might drift out to something like 2/1 and if he does that’s not a bad price, Know what you’re saying In you know what the Ballydoyle are going to do and make the race hard for economics to win but William haggas and Tom Marquand aren’t stupid and will have a plan of there own. Economics 1st Ghostwriter 2nd Auguste Rodin 3rd Good luck with your bets mate Another essay lol
Economics drawn out wide in 8 that doesnt make things easy, probably have to be held up , see how the track is riding but quite often pays to be close to the pace at Leopardstown
@@Whitelight77 yeah for sure, Tom will be chatting to Holly after that got stuck last year to hopefully not make the same mistake. He’s got many big days ahead, if he wins tomorrow then fair play as he will have plenty of obstacles against him
Brilliant video Pete, Good luck 👍
Cracking video mate. P.s please don't go tomorrow , and watch illinois win from the couch 😂

@@incadog409 cheers, glad you were on 🤝
Lake Victoria would be my choice in the 1000 guineas, the fact she bolted up in a group 3 against a experienced mountain breeze on only her second start but the other thing to take in to consideration is I like a horse with course form and Ylang Ylang last year raced twice at HQ prior to her Guineas run and COT ran twice prior to his Guineas run, watch out for the rockfel stakes at Newmarket 27th September, Ylang Ylang was sent there last year and my thinking is lake Victoria will go there too, it might not mean anything but something to note. Watch out for giselle was beaten by bedtime story on debut but was Ryan’s first choice and she looks like a future 1 mile 4 furlongs type of horse so got me eye on her for the oaks, agree with u about ruling court more to come from him, pretty sure he was a breeze up buy and breeze up horses are never 100% second time out, ancient truth would be my main fancy for the 2000 Guineas at the min, very confident bet on economics in the Irish champion for me, los Angeles is better over 1 mile 4f and will want a tad cut in the ground and Auguste Rodin will struggle against economics giving weight even if he’s back to his best, watch out for delius in the arc if the grounds not to boggy, if the ground is a bog lope de vega should take the beating but delius is should a baby of horse and had slow start lto and was given a terrible ride if he can mature a bit and settle better if stands a massive chance, thinks he’s a monster of a horse, st leger I’m in agreement apart from if the grounds got soft in the description as all over o’brein runners will pretty much want fast ground and might be worth another saved on ancient wisdom who want mind soft ground, I’m on COT for the classic pretty much agree with u there, American dirt horses don’t look anything special this year, but u never mentioned the banker of the year bet for me and that’s thorpedo Anna in the distaff, confident she goes there and wins personally, sorry for the essay, enjoy the content keep it up mate What’s I’ve gone for Irish champion economics 4/1 St leger Illinois 16/1 + saver on ancient wisdom Arc - delius 66/1 Long distance cup trawlerman 4/1 Classic COT 14/1 missed the 20s Distaff thorpedo Anna 8/1 1000 guineas lake Victoria 14/1 2000 Guineas ancient truth 33/1 to win lto and the Guineas
@@Jack-tt4dc Yeah 100% agree with you on Thorpedo Anna. Was hoping if I stayed quiet we would get at least the 6/4 or bigger. She’s going off odds on, more like 4/6 on day. Only concern is if she gets too far back on a track that shows no forgiveness for hard luck stories
@@Jack-tt4dc also cheers for all your insights and thoughts Jack, great to hear some other opinions. No essay is ever too long, good luck with all your selections 👍
Ruby Walsh said on paddy power podcast Absurde might not be tuned up for Saturday as willie’s main targets for him are in australia. Said he’d probably be happy if he came third
@@HUFC1997 yeah could well be the case but was the same for Vauban last week and he won. Wouldn’t be a confident bet but would be the choice in the race.

Have you been in a fight? Just kidding lol love the content
You been in a scrap Pete?
love the cap!!!!🎉
If you split your £10 stake evenly you will still cover your stake but win much more if the 2nd fav wins
Yes you do but then that’s not a cover bet, that dutching/split stakes. If you fancy the second favourite stronger than the fav then that method would be the choice.
Awesome coverage, great calls - thanks!
@@incadog409 no problem, glad you had a good day of it 👍
Great video 👏 good to hear your views
Lukaku or Ronaldo top scorer at the Euros, both sat around 12/1, can do ew 4 places as well
William Hill doing a promotion btw… bet £10ew or £20 on someone to be top Euros Goalscorer and you get a £5 free football bet every time they score a goal
I’ve backed both each way and Kane win only. Thinking alike 🤝
Finding it so hard to trust anything on the flat this season. Barely any horses backing up their form, countless running half cooked without prior notice from connections. Mad results this year across the board
Could you go as far as saying something corrupt with the 2000 guineas ? Bookies would have lost millions if COT would have won, was he put round that parade ring on purpose two races before ? Bet you they didn’t put him round the parade ring two races before at the derby. A horse that special doesn’t run that bad just because he hadn’t a run. My best antepost for ascot was al qudra at 66/1 for the Coventry now 12s, at the current markets I think big Evs is special and will be hard to beat, whistlejacket I think is special, in terms of a big price 25/1 for royal Scotsman is overpriced, cheers for the video enjoyed it👍🏻
Just to add to that essay I just wrote I think thorpedo Anna for the breeders cup distaff at 8/1 is absolutely unreal price, one of the best performances from a filly I’ve seen
Not in the slightest imo. City of Troy was 5/4 most of the winter, wouldn’t even be closest to a liability for races like the Derby or Cheltenham and most professionals don’t go in first time out after the 2-3 yo break. Yeah of course he was put around the parade ring on purpose to display him, as they treat him like a god and the next big thing (which makes sense after Derby). I didn’t go to the Derby but I will likely go to the eclipse and I would be sure now he has the win, he will be in the pre-parade ring showing him off again. They thought they had the best horse since Galileo and as O’Brien explained he was over confident and didn’t get the work in to him at home, expecting him to be too good. If any horse isn’t fit they will get found out regardless of op and in a race like the 2000 with top level oppo and Group 1 winners he got found out. It all happened to fast for him and they didn’t hang around in the early stages. Clearly just my view but all Aiden’s excuses make sense on what I saw. Two year old races look more open than ever, going to be interesting what the ground does. Yeah Royal Scotsman defo a dark horse, as the front end looks weak in that. Agree on Thorpedo Anna, mighty impressive. Only concern taking the price would be that she may race the boys. They nearly went to the Belmont stakes against the boys this weekend but had connections for it already. Always good for comments/chat, glad you liked the video and good luck this season.
