That is a volt meter i would reckon
Only power wash a generator if it is absolutely necessary, and if you do cover the stator and rotor with plastic, lost my share of stators that way.
Chinese Honda clone generator easy carb replacement, wish all generator repairs were that easy.
Yeah this smaller ones have easy ones, all the big name whole house generators are a pain in the bottom to do
I like your video 100% And you explain. On your generator. 100% : ))))
You need to put a light film of oil on the foam air filter or they don't work!!!!!!!!!!
That's true. I ruined a go kart engine because I didn't think the foam filter needed oil. After a few weeks of my brother and I riding it all over our place it started to smoke. Dust and sand had scored the cylinder wall.
Nice refurb. Personally I've had bad experiences when using aftermarket carbs for small engine equipment. However, I've never used Hipa parts. Are they better quality than the junk from China?
@@troyyarbrough I’ve never had an issue with them, I buy diaphram carbs from them all the time for handheld 2 stroke equipment. Couldn’t be more satisfied
Last year I was given a Kohler Pro 3.7 for free, because it didn't run. I did the normal maintenance, cleaned the carb, changed the air filter, and it runs like new. Only had 92 hours on the clock. The MSRP for those machines were $1,500 back in 2015, because they produce >5% THD. Interesting enough, even though it's a Honda clone and you can use generic parts, the Kohler OEM parts are of way higher quality than generic. They do go for a premium.
I'm pretty sure you meant <5% THD
@@troyyarbrough Yes, you are correct. I noticed the error after I commented, but left it as is, since when you know, you know.
Not bad. Need to watch James Condon. Master at generators. Thanks
Very informative and helpful lawn mower repair video.Lots of repair videos on your channel, Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.
Yes please! I’d love for a collab, I use a bunch of your guys carbs for handheld equipment and a bunch of push mowers.
@@CehajicMechanics That sounds good. How can I reech out to you?
What does it take to do a collaboration?
Wow, what a deal! This is the kind of find I dream about. 😉 Nice job. I’d clean all the debris off with a leaf blower or shop vac set to blow, and THEN pressure wash it. 🔧👍
You miss to replace the oil in the hydros. Good job!
@@luisarreola9420 your right I did forget! I did it a couple days after I filmed though!
You might think about removing the cowling to check the air cooling fins. A mower that old might be plugged pretty tight.
Agreed, especially if it’s the first time working on an unknown machine.
I love it! I bought an 2003 ex-mark diesel, liquid cooled and fixed it up. Beautiful machine
Awesome find💯💪🏾
Good job!!!
Great video , i just did the same to my 2006 polaris trailblazer 250 😊
