I'm selling my 1972 Norton 750 Combat Commando. Due to health issues, I no longer ride and am beginning to liquidate some of the cool things I have accumulated over the years. This bike has been sitting in my shed for the last 19 years. She is a runner with 13966 miles on the clock, and is mostly stock with original Amal Concentric Carburetors and Norton Lockheed disc brake (just rebuilt with new seals and stainless steel pistons). Slotted screw engine cover hardware has been replaced with stainless steel Allen Head fasteners improving serviceability. Tank and side panels are hand lettered, hand striped and clear-coated to a spectacular finish, contrasting with the patina on the rest of the bike. The original points and breaker ignition has been replaced with a Boyer electronic ignition improving starting and performance. Superblend crank bearings for reliability. This classic motorcycle, like all British bikes of the period, will require periodic maintenance and occasionally more. To help with that, included with the bike is a Clymer Manual, an authentic original Norton shop manual and a third useful manual that is a collection of issues, answers and tips that makes a great addendum to the other two documents. Also included are left and right chrome made-in-England replacement exhaust pipes. Bike will sell as is to the highest bidder. Bike is located in Gainesville Florida.
