Hi our pump have error E 18.2 what does it mean? Thanks
Would I disable the self priming valve is the pressure was only coming from gravity from our cistern tank? Planning to mount horizontal. Thanks
Hi, I'm facing an issue with the Mini 3. My underground pump tends to malfunction leading to the reservoir not refilling and causing the mini 3 to dry run. The issue I have is whenever this happens I need to re-prime the pump again because it loses all the water in it. Is there any way to avoid this (besides replacing the underground pump so as to avoid dry runs obviously) ? Relevant details: the pump is connected to the system on bottom and the reservoir is about 2-3 feet below it.

Hi there, I am a customer based in the UK. I had a minor issue with ESYBOX pump but the UK team could not help so I am giving the US a try. With my ESYBOx, I realised that when the water valve shut and when the pump was running toward the end, it made very sharp squeaky noise. Would you be able to advise how to fix the issue? The pump was not making this noise oroginally but after a year it does, a bit frustrating.

Hello after three years without any problems my DAB Esybox shows an error internal error short circuit to earth. What could that be? I didn‘t even touch it since it has been installed by a qualified company.

Oh boy, found this video to late, I put some water in the no water zone. Tripped the gfi and it's been about an hour, still keeps tripping. is it totally toast now or will this dry up.
We're using ESYBOX Mini 3, easy to install and very quite pump, I love it... However, we have a problem, after 6 hours on stand-by, without run, the pump empties the primed water back into the rainwater tank, we checked, there's no water leak at the priming side. Any idea? A "Retain/Hold water" configuration somewhere!? Thx
@Kelvinucetam.6767 If you are pulling water from your rainwater tank, do you have a check valve installed coming from the tank? A check valve installed there would help the line remain prime and not allow water to flow back into the tank. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to reach out to our service department. Service.us@dabpumps.com.
@@dabpumpsusa Hei thank you very much for your reply, check valve have been installed this morning, it was the solution I thought before posting. Let's see tomorrow!
Do i also need to disable the self priming when i am pumping from a reservoir that is about 1 meter higher than the pump as so the water is coming from higher up the pump but with no extra pressure?
@HolyGamesHD Thank you for reaching out to us. You would want to disable the self-priming valve whenever you are getting constant pressure to the pump. So, if your tank is providing constant pressure already to the pump, then yes you would want to disable. If you have anymore questions or concerns, please contact our service department at service.us@dabpumps.com
I have the smaller dab unit I’ve never had an issue with these before until today. These pumps are fantastic. I do reverse osmosis, and I use this pump to resupply the pressure back into the home A 500 gallon holding tank, which is completely full, which of course it’s on the floor and the very bottom is where I would connect my line to run into the dab pump Now I have the dab pump sitting on a little bit of a stool about a foot a foot and a half higher than the bottom of the tank Coming out back into a series of filtration before it goes back into the house is about 10 foot of line that goes vertically up the wall And then filter and UV light and then another calcium calcium filter, then back into the home I can hear it come on. It gives me a red light and the white light is on the red light not supposed to be on, but I can’t figure out what I’m doing. Wrong is just too much air in the line for it to get in pump to be able to push that water , any suggestions? I would appreciate it.
@culver123456 I would suggest, that its air build up on your suction line. Every time the pump tries to pull water, it is sucking air. Do you have any bends or 90s on your suction line? If so, the more you have, the greater the chances of you sucking air in the pump. Also would install a check valve coming out of the tank leading to the pump, to keep the line primed. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to contact our service department at service.us@dabpumps.com
I blew a seal on the air tank I think. How do I get a tune up?

@@dabpumpsusa it was my bad. I will.
Hi sir, if I want to use big outlet do I need to put check valve to the small outlet?
Thank you for reaching out to us. If you have any detailed questions, you can send them to our email service.us@dabpumps.com.
Showing how to perform the check on the valves would be useful. Discussing the symptoms as to why you would check these would make sense also. The video assumes the person understands such things, a common mistake if you are very familiar with something. Also I assume you need to turn the water/power off before removing things like this?
Thank you for feedback! We will take this information into consideration to improve our future videos.
I bought my easy box mini3 three months ago and already the pressure sensor has had it. Very disappointing for a pump in this price bracket
Hello, thank you for your comment. I apologize for the issue you had with your pressure sensor. Pressure sensors can fail due to water hammer and build-up of material within the sensor itself. If you continue to have issues, please contact our customer care department at service.us@dabpumps.com and we will be happy to assist.
Bien cordialement
Worst pump dont buy lasts less than 3 years
Why doesn't this tool come with the mini boxes 😢
Thank you sooo much! Fantastic video
I have the mini and let me tell you its no slouch. No issues been going for 2 years now.
@DAB Pumps USA. good day, we have a problem. Our Pump always throws a f4 error message 8s after hard reset. What could I do to fix that?
Anybody know the max inlet psi? My town pressure is 40 psi. Im trying to get away without installing a pressure regulator. I just don't have the room.
Install a regulator and set it to around 30psi, then on the mini 3 just switch this little thing at the back around to flooded suction.
Hi!! Thanks for the video, my e-sybox shows E16.22 related with a problem in the HV. I have measuring the different voltages in the PCB and that's ok. I also have measuring the comunication between the HV and the LV and it is present but I don't know if it's ok. The HV doesn't send the inverter pulses to the IGBTs drivers. What can be the reason?
Immer so ca. 5 min vielleicht... Ist das Normal? Vielen Dank
I love DAB pumps, but it's hard not insulting you if you're an actual DAB tech using slip joints on those fittings. I'm sure your supervisor wouldn't appreciate that. Tell us the correct wrench size(even if it's metric).
Where can I purchase a replacement PCB in the US?
Hello, our team can assess and get the part number for you via: service.us@dabpumps.com - Thank you!
My Esybox pump has trouble: The faucet is opened doesn't flow smoothly. Can you tell me how to solve it ?
You all need to upgrade your video and audio if you are going to produce videos like this. I must bought and Esybox Mini 3 and I am just trying to learn about it in case I have problems. The fact that you made 2 videos now on the pressure switch replacement has me a bit concerned, but honestly both videos are kind of useless. The first one the guys hands are in the way of seeing anything, and the second one the video quality is so poor and jumpy it is useless. Just thought you should know.

I have the same one but my problem is when I use it there is no psi pressure even I change the psi to highest number there is no psi pressure so I’m not sure if that’s the pressure sensor is doing that
Hello I tried with a screwdriver as you indicate but it doesn't work. I check the inside and it seems that the footprint in the shaft is more like a square. Is there been an evolution on this ? Thanks for your help.
What did you end up doing? Mine doesn't deblock either
@@LaNoches I had to open it completely... And honestly, I don't remember the shape of the axis but I think it's the only solution
Same problem! Seems like there is something inside. How can you open it? Thanks
@@Filo1793 just remove the 4 screws on the front
Is it possible the sensor could be dirty instead of broken? how often do these generally fail? i see they’re around 100$ to replace…
Thanks for this video. My Mini 3 sat in a few inches of standing water (Ian) and then showed a BP1 error for the pressure sensor. I opened it up, disconnected the pressure sensor, dried everything out, cleaned the lower connection with alcohol and then put it back together. The BP1 error is gone and everything appears normal, but it shows 83lbs of pressure and the pump doesn't start. I did a factory reset and then tried different SP/RP settings as per the troubleshooting chart, but no joy. I assume the pressure sensor is bad. I bought a replacement Mini 3 to get me going, but I would like to repair this one to use with my rainwater catchment system. Is there an easy way to buy the pressure sensor? That DNA website is a bit too complex.

What's the part # for the ESYBOX 230V pressure sensor?
Hi there! it is: SP00000150
Love my esybox mini3 but it loses pressure and then cycles all the time. I even turn off both the incoming and outgoing valves and it slowly loses pressure. Any idea what the issue could be? Thanks!
I’m having the same issue right now, did you find anything out?? Thanks !!
@@ejRecording No, unfortunately I haven't figured it out. Now that my irrigation season is done, I may take it to someone to look at. The only thing I can think of is that if there is an internal check valve, maybe it is malfunctioning?
@@deankreutzer2745 so it’s doing it with all valves closed? mines doing that when valve opens, so I think it must be the (overpriced) pressure sensor.
@@ejRecording Mine does it when all the valves are closed. I've sent a email to their support, but no support yet!
I would suggest a leaking or sticking ‘non return valve’
Thank u Zane!!!
Hi there, my esybox.mini3 has a problem, it says "no power supply", tries to start but the display shutdown, and tries again with the same message again and again, and after a few cycles it runs ok for two or three stars and the again fails to start with the same message. Any tougths of what is the problems or where to start checking.
I had one of these and the controller went bad, took to dealer and they had a graveyard full of them unrepairable due to extortionate cost of parts. Replacement part was 70% of a new pump and they are not cheap. Better off buying cheap Chinese pumps last longer anyway.

Hy i am having a problem with my pump. When the water gets in the pump it starts leaking from a side. Do you know what the problem might be? Thank you.
Hi, thank you for sharing this issue. We would like to know more about it. Can you please email us at info.us@dwtgroup.com?
@@dabpumpsusa I have sent you an email with the problem. I am waiting for an answer. Thanks.
seems like a lot of thermo plastic in this unit.
Up to this point how long has this pump been in service
seems like these pumps have their share of problems. I wonder if it's worth getting one of these of just going with the KISS system like a simple submersible and a pressure tank?
Hi. We have the bigger version easybox pump. It has developed a problem with pressure, set to 4 bar but only operating at 0,5. It has 60 000lt tanks which it feeds from, no blockages in pipes. Could it also be the pressure sensor and how do we replace it ?
Hi There, we will be publishing a video for the same replacement on the Standard Esybox in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
how long was it in service before problems started appearing?
Where is the check valve located? My pump has been heating up and they said I need to remove the valve.
Thanks for your question! The check valve on the ESYBOX Mini 3 is located under the access panel beside the screen. Use the 2mm wrench under the top cover of the pump to remove the two screws at the top, pry off the access panel cover, and you will see a port cover like what is on the intake and discharge of the pump. Make sure that the pump is fully drained, then, unscrew and remove this port cover, and the check valve is directly behind it, you can just pull it out.
Ok got it. Is there an obstruction or broken part that I should be looking for that could be responsible for the heating issue?
@@fa619 Check to see if there is an obstruction or if anything looks broken, if not, reassemble the pump and check to see if it is cycling or if you have the same fault. If you do, please call our tech line at 843-797-5002, x. 4. Thank you
