Thank you Sir. My wife really makes great food. 👍🏻.
Ha!! Another great video of you two, cute as ever. hehe Good video title Patrick...I'd say that "revenge" was indeed achieved against Aname for her recent Bisaya language lesson with you. 🙂 But, she took it in great stride with her usual great smile and laugh and seemed to do pretty well with a new language. Your smile into the camera, your raised eyebrows and gleem in your eye was very funny as she struggled with "Chriesi". I hope you all will continue the practice and also occasionally post a "lesson" to periodically show us your all's progress. I'll bet that in six to 12 months, you each will be greatly improved. Though I'm no good yet in any other language, I find different languages fascinating, and plan to learn some well over the next few years. German is actually one on my "priority" list. I'm just curious, if you see my post...what is the difference (or main, general differences) between Swiss-German and the German typically spoken if Germany and Austria? On my own about a year ago, I used Duolingo and Pimsleur and learned just a TAD of German, and I saw (in the printing/captions on the screen) and heard a bit of a different pronunciation and other differences...with some of the words similar but still with spelling/pronunciation differences. (And, just curious...do you think it's harder to learn Swiss-German or "regular" German?) I'm amazed at the length of some of the German words and also how the words are often connected into one enormous word to form a sentence. As always, all the best to you two!
Hi Theodicy, thank you so much for your kind support and comment. The diffrence is in the local dialects. In Germany, parts of Switzerland and in Austria, High German is the "official" language, but the dialects change quite often and vary even from village to village. It doesn't matter so much which of the German speaking countries you visit. High German is understood everywhere, but the answers might be harder to get because of dialects. A tomato is a Tomate in German and in Switzerland but a Paradiser in Austria. There are a lot more differences and to be accepted one might need to learn them iv he lives there. So learn German and if you want to visit Switzerland or Austria or a certain part of Germany you might try to learn the variations then. Anyways thank you again and we hope to entertain you in the future too.
Very good Aname!!! You are doing very well :)🎉
Thank you ❤️it's so difficult 😏 but It'll get better slowly 💪

This is my third video of your all's after discovering your channel just two days ago, and I continue to be struck by what a cute couple you both are and how good a relationship you seem to have. That is very nice to see in this world and when there are so many failed marriages and so many negative stories about relationships...including ones with Filipinas...on TH-cam. I like the way you all seem to match your shirts. Funny. 🙂 You know...I know that there ARE some decent people of both sexes in the world AND on dating sites, but we've all been burned in some way, and it's sad to see how so many have fallen away from traditional values and the concept of lifelong love, loyalty, openness and honesty, richer/poor, sickness/health, and resiliency and working through problems and truly caring about each other and growing even closer and more in love through the years. People seem to look at marriage as just a temporary thing UNTIL it gets tough in some way and/or until you find something "better". I am a person of faith--in fact, though I've never used it professionally, got a master's in ministry just to increase my knowledge of scripture and theology--and while I actually do not think that's required for a great, successful, permanent marriage, it certainly can help and is nice to hear from you all and the role that it plays in your lives and marriage. Over the past approximately ten years, I've been on most of the main dating sites (eHarmony, Elite Singles, LDSSingles, Match.com, POF, and OKCupid)--and three of them twice each--and I found them to be FILLED with scammers, though I was very good at spotting them, usually immediately just based on their profiles and/or first message to me, and for the ones that appeared to be legitimate, they either just didn't have a profile that interested me, had fairly tight geographic restrictions and weren't open (and all of these involved 90%+ people just in the US) to long-distance relationships (and I can't blame them for that one...though I will say that sometimes your perfect person might initially be at a distance), or there was just some other issue. Though, one thing that amazed me is that for sites that covered the entire country, I was amazed at how few people there were "near" me (defined as those within a two-hour drive). Also, some sites clearly had old profiles--as shown by those sites that showed the date that someone was last logged on--and one clear thing is that these sites care ONLY about revenue and NOT keeping members safe or weeding out scammers. As I messaged several of the sites, if I--as someone who has never owned/run a dating site and who is not a tech expert--can easily identify a high percentage of scammers JUST from their profiles, then with ALL their computer capabilities and algorithms (not to mention initial basic screenings that they could do--say requiring a driver's license photo and perhaps a real-time video of themselves), why can't THEY weed out scammers much better?! My age was also an issue, and to be honest, I can't blame people for having preferences in that area, just as they might have in other areas like education, smoking/drinking, religion/faith, height/weight, race, etc.. I do think though that many people are way too superficial and interested more in the outside and money/career, rather than the heart, ethics, character, etc.. I also found that most women over 30 already had at least one child, and though I have nothing against children--and, in fact, since I've never had any, I'd enjoy having one or two with a partner--I did not want the extra financial responsibility and a TON of the potential drama and conflicts that come with an ex-husband/father, step-children, the woman's usual loyalty to her children first, etc.. I knew that in such a relationship, I'd ultimately always be second. I am divorced once, and my wife had been married and divorced and had three children--two grown and one still with his father--and that caused minimal issues, but there were a few. The main issue though is that I'd love to start a family with a partner who has never had children and where it's a new, wonderful experience for both of us. Finally, (and, again, I can certainly understand age preferences...particularly not wanting a big gap), since I was 55 when I started looking online after my divorce, usually it was only women 45+ or even 50+ who were interested...and again, it seemed like there were few choices anyway online in my area--or even when I opened the search to the entire country. It didn't matter that I was in good shape, had many interests/hobbies, or that I was extremely well-educated; women just pretty much didn't seem interested...which definitely requires one to have a strong ego and self-esteem. hehe I don't know where I was going with all of this, except perhaps just to share with you all...and perhaps give you a chance to comment back and/or to address my thoughts/concerns in a future video. I've heard good things about ChristianFilipina, but I've also heard some really bad things about it too. Plus, if I had the chance to just come to the Philippines for two to four weeks to travel to a few places and perhaps meet some genuinely nice women, I'd do so, but for several reasons, I just really can't do that right now or for the forseeable future. It is very encouraging though to see a couple like yourselves that has done so well and who actually met online. I just think the odds are greatly against me, but I also don't want to be an even older "dad", and I'd love to see my children at least graduate from high school and to be able to teach them tons that I've learned from my work and graduate programs over the years and to to play tennis with them, teach them martial arts, and many other things. Like all people my age, I don't have the time to waste. Oh, and I will close by saying that I wasn't ever focused--as many expats and foreigners seem to be, whether with Filipinas or with women in their home countries--on young women. While I can appreciate beauty at any age, I tended to prefer women in the range 35-45, even closer to my age since there were much greater cultural similarities and a "common history" as far as the era in which we were raised. However, the ability to have children--especially safely for the woman and also for the increased birth defects probability--starts decreasing a lot at age 30, and falls off precipitously at age 40...not to mention, again, that most women by that age have already had children--with many not wanting more, even if they can still have them, and so many of the women greatly jaded by past relationships. You're lucky that your wife is, I seem to remember, about 28, had never had kids or been married when you met, is educated, speaks great English and is clearly a very loving, mature lady. .... Sorry for the big post, but perhaps it might give you both ideas to address in future videos and suggestions that you might offer people in my situation.
Hello again Theodicy, wow, what a great and long comment. I try to reply to some of it here and we actually might include some topics in a future video. I myself are 52 and can relate to what you are saying. I had given up to find someone in my old country with whom I could start a family. That's why I started looking elsewhere. I choose the Philippines mainly because of the shared faith and the English as a official language. At least some common ground I thought. And I am indeed lucky to have found my wife. But you would be surprised by how little "common history" we have, especially shared culture. My wife largely grew up without TV or cinema. So I wouldn't focus too much on that when looking for a potential partner. Important for us was that we shared the same faith. Nowadays with internet almost everywhere this is about to change but you would be surprised how diffrent it still is. Especially in the rural areas. I was specifically looking for a "country girl" and found her. If you are planning to visit for a vacation just be aware that it's the same as online. A foreigner is highly thought after and a lot of women will tell you everything you want to hear. I also can understand the "no kids". I grew up with two step sister and know how hard a patchwork family can be. I would love to give some good advice in regard to dating sites but not too long ago we were asked to promote Christian Filipina and decide against it for now because of scheduling reasons. We met on Filipino Cupid, but there are scammers too. So on that regard I can't give any smart advice. I had the luck that I was able to visit my wife soon after we met and it worked out for us so far. But we have ups and downs too. My faith helps me a lot. I hope we can continue our journey thru life together and I can't wait to have my own children to teach them, even if it is most likely they won't listen. We make plans but God has his own plan for our lives. 😃. I hand over to my wife as she might want to ad something. Wife here.. I've used Christian Filipina before, it is a good one but like other sites, it has downsides. It is so hard to find the right person nowadays. I've experienced it by myself a lot but I kept on going. About age, I really had age preference before, but as time went by I decided to change it and go with the natural flow of where it is leading. So, our small advice is to just keep on trying and hold on to your faith and standards until the right one comes because we did the same. 😀
You know...I've never had this happen before. I just found your channel yesterday, subscribed, gave a "thumbs up", and left a comment, to which you were nice enough to reply. But, just now, after watching this recent video, I left another "thumbs up" and a comment, but when I hit the "Comment" button, my comment instantly disappeared. Weird. So, I'm leaving this to let you know and also to see if it happens again as I try to leave this one. All the best!

I just discovered and subscribed to your channel yesterday. Another nice video here. You two seem to get along so well and have so much fun together. That's rare, and a blessing for sure! Your wife has the most amazing smile and eyes that light up when she smiles or is having a funny conversation...like the fun you all had in the first video I saw yesterday where she was teaching you some words and phrases in her native dialect. It would be great fun and so educational to practice with and learn from a bilingual person. Very cool. She doesn't by any chance have a twin sister who's vegan or vegetarian--or willing to become one--does she? 🙂 Wishing you both all the best!
Hi Theodicy, thank you for supporting our small channel. We always get along together and try to have fun as much as we can, even on the difficult days. She has a great smile, for sure. That's one of the reasons I made her my wife. She has in fact 2 sisters, a younger one and an older one 😀. I'm not sure about the vegan issues, though 🤔 😀. I have two sisters, and they are vegan, but both are already off the market 😉. I hope we can continue to make videos you like. Thanks again, and welcome.
Neat video. You all are cute together. BTW...I think you all failed to say what the last word and phrase mean in English...Dugangi (and then since it was not spelled out on the screen, I'll just have to guess, mainly phonetically at the last part of the phrase) ogloto. What does that all mean? Thanks. I look forward to more videos. Take care! 🙂
Thank you so much! We're happy to welcome you to our small channel. 😊 Dugangi means "add more" and then "luto" from my wife's village means "cooked rice or rice". So it's dugangi ug luto = add more rice.
@@AlbathFamilyHomestead Thanks for the info; I appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time for a response. I just thought...that since you're Swiss, if I noticed correctly in one of your video descriptions, you should also do a video of you teaching her YOUR native language, which I assume is German, though I know the Swiss are often multi-lingual and that there are several languages used in the country. ... Also, just FYI...I just finished watching the video--though I've forgotten the exact title--where you all ride in the car with the boxed, multi-tiered birthday cake to go to the birthday party, and then later you all are eating french fries together, other foods, and a nice-looking dessert. Anyway, I tried posting, and when I hit the "Comment" button, my post immediately disappeared. I've never had that happen, and so I tried writing a new comment and reposting...but the same thing happened again. I just thought I'd let you know, since I seem to be able to post to other channels and IF this post also gets to you through this particular video, it seems as though there might be some sort of glitch with the other video. Take care!
Hello Theodicy we are already working on something in that direction 😀. I already taught her some German and we're planing to include it in one of our video too.
