It’s still there yknow and it’s about 5 minutes walk from Cathkin , god I wish we were back playing at Shawfield , I’m no gonna see it now that I’ve got this ……… but maybe , just maybe , every single Clyde fan you ask will give you the same answer ,get us back to Rutherglen and Shawfield before all my generation die out the ones that remember Clyde playing at Shawfield , we finished third in 1966-67 season , made the semis of the cup same season and the league cup semis the following season , man they were halcyon daze ubet , and Shawfield was integral to all that .Well it’s still there and one thing I’ve learned in my 66 years is that ‘nothings impossible and -don’t think it canny happen coz it can .

You never even went to Cathkin park when you were at Hampden. The Home of the now defunct Third Lanark. No firhill. Could've seen the crumimg shawfield stadium, Clydes old home. Could've visited the west of Scotland cricket ground in Partick, home of the very first International, Scotland V England. You missed out a lot.
