power shifting= full throttle+slight clutch+shift. clutchless= throttle released+clutch released+ shift. quick shifter= full throttle+clutch released+ (engine detects shift) cuts power immediately as you shift. Never do clutchless, racing or not. Cause if you're going to let go of that throttle when you do clutchless, it takes the same amount of time and powerloss if you clutch. might as well grab the clutch quickly as well, because shifting with an engaged clutch will introduce unecessary wear to your gears and your clutch pads. So either you powershift or normal if you dont have a quick shifter installed. Clutchless is a fool's way of shifting quick. a worn gear train from changing gears with clutch still actively engaged will scratch the surface of your gears and in return, grinding gears will introduce resistance on the clutch pads and will heat them up unnecessarily. Hot clutch pads will expand the material and make it less efficient at adhering to the crankshaft and will reduce how much the engine is putting power to the wheels.
