Hi Frank that dollar off when it's reached its use by is one of my peeves too, a butcher mate said they toss all that meat into mystery bags and add preservatives and flavours, beef , lamb and pork lasts longer than the use by but heck never try it with seafood or poultry .

Hi sweltering friends! The free air conditioning is worth a lot to just walk through the stores. Sale stickers aren't worth much. I'm writing a grocery list for when my monthly social security check arrives in the bank. I freeze the meat and hope for a sale on items I like.

On another note it's crazy that when I was growing up 34 was considered a heatwave and I got to stay from school etc.. now it's excepted as normal summer weather but personally for me it's still hot and feels like the sun burns way more idk maybe it's just me?

It's amazing how they only discount a dollar or so on meat products but many people just see a discounted sticker on there and pounce on it without actually checking what the full amount was that's what they rely on

Look at the size of those chooks what the hell they feeding them? Or should I say adding to their water and food...

I've always found that wraps 🌯 seem to be more expensive than a sandwich 🥪 but i guess even a sanga nowadays can fetch up to $14 crazy! But the $5.99 burger 🍔 sounds intriguing

Welcome to Wangaratta. I've never been to that BP servo although I drive pass it a lot. I go to Foodary Servo further north from BP in Greta Rd. Nice staff. I get petrol there using my Woollies Everyday Rewards card to get $10 off from my groceries when I get to 2000 points. They do have self serve food too but not the same as the BP though.

You're right, Frank. The prices are terrible. Every week things go up by anything up to a dollar an item. I always check out the specials at different stores.

Just boil kettle and pour over noodles then microwave for 1.30 then add all flavours,it's a winner but I'll pour out all the water stuff and add a cheese slice or two and add my herbs from garden and eat like a king
