Mine was doing the same thing, ot was a little rubber groumet had cracked on top of the high pressure pump inside the vst.

Good vid but the only thing I do differently is loosen the differential fill plug before I remove the drain plug. If for some weird reason you cannot loosen the fill plug as it may be seized and you've already drained the fluid, there's no way to fill it back up.

that not ur spark aresstor....thats the plug for the muffler.....ur aresstor in the the insert inside ur muffler hole......pull that out and clean it

Just found your site and watched the coolant replacement. On this operation I didn't see the aluminum crush washer removed at any time and didn't see a new one installed. Its common for that washer to either drop onto the skid pan or be stuck onto the differential. It should be replace with a new one in either case! But you need to verify where the old crush washer has gone. Concerning the fill proceedure.... you should use a clean towel or paper towel and wipe off the fresh gear oil from the threads on the differential. Wait to see if the new fluid collects onto the threads again. If it does it's full. If it doesn't then you still need to add gear oil.

I was a Honda M/C and ATV tech for 35 years and commend your video! I retired in 2005. My only addition would be replacing the copper washer on the drain bolt with a new one. That is a Honda recommendation also.

I like to run some new oil through it too flush out any junk that might be in there then put drain plug in and finish

I did my forman last week and all I did different was pore more new oil and let it drain off I think this flushes out the crap then I put in the drain plug in and fill it up she is all cleaned out

After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the drain plug and tighten it to the specified torque:9 lbf·ft (12 N·m , 1.2 kgf·m)

Hi again. This past weekend my quad was bogging down after a while of riding and even shut off on me I let it cool down and made it home. I noticed today that my coolant reservoir in the back is cracked and had no fluid in it. Do you think my machine overheated because of this? It still starts up like a champ but Im not riding it till i replace the little tank.

Mine was doing the exact same thing as yours was in the first video. I cleaned the VST(which it didn’t need because it was already clean) new plugs, did a shock treatment with seafoam, new plugs again, oil change, fuel filter. Next is the injectors. Your videos give me hope that it’s the injectors because they literally are doing the same thing
