Great video! Thanks for posting! Here learning how to repair/replace my spiral balance and balance shoe. Hopefully I can find some balance parts for a 1996 VinylMax window (blue tip spiral).

I have no idea how to get these things out without damaging my window channels.

Can you recommend a video or other resource on how to install these spring loaded/string type window channel balances? I unscrewed the anchors on mine to fix the string (stuck/pinched at the pulley wheel) and now have no idea how to re-it install into the window frame. Thanks 🙏👍

My old windows have the spiral balance and at the bottom of the spiral there was a plastic piece that stuck out about an inch to hold the windows. What is that piece called?

And the last one you said 7/8" but showed 1". The video has great potential but those visual errors are confusing.

I just watched your video and notice that while you SAID 1 1/16" front to back, your tape measure showed 1 1/8". The first two winged bottoms showed the same tape measurement 1 1/8". So, not sure of you measured wrong or just had the wrong parts and said what you knew. Maybe the tape measurement was just for illustration but if it was you should have said so. Now I don't know whether to use what you showed or what you said.
