Cool ! That's what I needed to see... and buy 😅 . Thanks a lot !
YW glad it helped!
My only concern is do these connectors retain the original grounding/shielding
I have the same issue on the same axle and even the same stud. However my set up is disc brake instead of hub. Anyone know if I have to remove the whole wheel hub in order to separate the collar and knock out a stripped stud?
I don’t know for sure on your setup but if I was a betting man I’d bet you’ll have to remove the hub to get to the stud.

It sucks, but it’s fixable.
Post fix, and now that winter is around the corner, have you had any leaks?
All good so far. Made it through the rest of last winter, spring, summer, and put to now - so far no issues or leaks.
Do you have a video or picture of jack points on the Telluride? I really can't seem to find anything on the internet besides pinch welds :)
I don’t have any at the moment. I’ve never liked using the pinch welds on modern vehicles. On this particular video I’m pretty sure I place the jack under the front suspension crossmember.
How does that heat gun attachment work when in close proximity to a cluster of wires that need to all be heat shrinked? Thanks
It works pretty well. Definitely not perfect but does the job.
Good info. I couldn't find this on their site. Could you please share the link if you still have it? Thank you. New subscriber.
www.roughcountry.com/product/kawasaki-mule-lift-kit-94002
This might seem like a silly question BUT: went for an oil change on my 2020 telluride (after I changed the spark plugs myself) and they told me my oil pan gasket was leaking. They quoted me $600 for this, with $180 for the part. I’m struggling to see how a gasket this small could be SO expensive. Seems like I should start here with this gasket.
I would definitely get a second opinion. I will say - if the gasket referenced in the video is bad and leaking oil, it could potentially look like it is the oil pan gasket. But odds are that it is this one instead.
Winter?
How did you clean the housing? Use break cleaner? And are all the bolts the same size---length? Excellent video
I just wiped with a clean shop towel. Some will continue to seep out so you probably won't be able to keep it completely clean.
Thank you for explain it so well, now I learned how to do it by my self
You're welcome! Glad it helped!
Damn, wish they could take the best features of both and combine them. These things really need the remote release like the locknlube and the angled head like the jaco. I cant get my hand in to release the jaco button.
I agree!
@@arrowjmfarms Well, I bought that Jaco, but it won't fully work on my dually. Due to the bulk of the head I can't get it on my front wheel valve stem with the gator valves on them. I can barely get it on my outer dually if I have the positioning of the whole unit just perfect, and it is a bit short to reach my inners comfortably. My search for an air chuck to pair with my new M18 inflator continues...
Wish you would have showed it in action on your dually. Im not sure I could get my hand in there to release it I have been using the standard Jaco with my M12 for a year or so on car and Harley tires and absolutely love it.
I have another video comparing the Jaco to the Lock N Lube and I actually try both on the dually.
See here: LockNLube vs Jaco Tire Chuck: Who's the best? th-cam.com/video/b6xS1CftZCM/w-d-xo.html
@@arrowjmfarms Ok great. I just went out to my Ford dually and stuck my hand in the wheel. I think I could just barely reach the release button so I just ordered the Jaco to try. Hope it can lock on to the air thru caps I have - I have heard them called gator valves. They do have external threads, so should work
Just the info I was looking for. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome, thanks for watching!
Really good video, thank you!
Thank you!
Hello. Have you thought about turning the control handles forward or making them removable during milling so as not to trample the ground? You can also remove the wheels and hang the motor cultivator on the attachment of a mini tractor or lawn mower. Good luck to you in your difficult work.
it's not network at all. it's the poe voltage and current they decided to up and hence needed their own cable and plugs. more about large current i think. since standards and regulations won't allow this poe, iirc this is why they did it. i doubt they would otherwise care and would happily sell you one without cable and tell just make plugs on your own. that's the one reason why crazy new connectors happen
In accordance with safety standards the POE voltage has to be below 60 volts, most max out at 57 including Starlink . Cat6A can handle 90 volts but of course distance/wattage has to be considered also - but it’s more than capable to handle the Starlink equipment.
Is one of those a return hose and do they go to the same set of remotes on the tractor like hooking up any implement or are you using multiple levers on the tractor side ?
Same set of remotes. All it does is operate the cylinders and purge out the air.
Did you have to drain all the oil before doing this?
Probably wouldn’t have to. But you will need to add some oil afterwards as some will probably drain out. Some will drain out regardless. Mine was due for an oil change so I drained it first.
@@arrowjmfarms thanks man, I appreciate the reply
Good information! Thank you
Thanks for the comment!
You’ve inspired me to do the same. Just last night I wandered off the trail carrying a generator with my 7040. Took me minute to get my bearings. The factory lights are awful.
Exactly. I’ve been lost a few times lol. I’m a wide open field it’s easy to lose your bearings. I’m considering a smaller lightbar for the back - just need to work out some mounting details.
Thanks for the tip. Fingers crossed mine are as easy to fix as yours.
I wish they were all this easy.
How has this setup held up
It held for a while. The winch relay finally quit. I need to order a new one but I ended going with a two-speed hand winch (with nylon strap) and it works pretty well. Less things to go wrong.
That is IF the tree is straight…
Most of them around here are.
I have one of these and managed to break it... Simple fix if I can get parts. I've tried calling MTL (dozens of times over 3 weeks), emailing, and texting (per their answering machine which is full)... no contact back. Anyone cracked the code to get ahold of them?
That sucks. Hopefully they will answer. I know they are based out of Georgia so maybe affected by the recent hurricane.
@@arrowjmfarms Maybe currently... but not when I started calling. Thanks for the response, hopefully they eventually get back to me. I was set to buy another attachment from them for the skid... but good money after bad it seems.
@@brandonjohnson8757 yea that’s crazy. They always seem to ship fast so someone is there receiving orders.
Thanks! Been having trouble with my trailer brakes. They function intermittently but then one wheel at a time. Bet you got me cured.
Yea I’ve found that most of the time it’s a bad connection, especially on the ground. Good luck troubleshooting!
Are you going to put offset a-arms and bigger tires?
Probably not. I’m not doing a lot of trail riding. Mostly used around our ranch. But I would like bigger tires.
Thank you for this video. I bought this chuck last year and haven't hooked it up to anything yet.
It’s still my favorite.
Title says Cam and Crankshaft… you only ever touch the camshaft in this video.
Same process, just on the crankshaft.
What are those bolts called?
I always call them Farm gate hinges. There are a few different sizes - which usually depends on the size/weight of the gate. Most new gates come with them. But they also sell them separately at any farm store or even Amazon.
The Wicked is a good grapple, I just wish they made it with a split lid - makes it easier to grab uneven logs
That would be my only improvement. Even though that’s still not a deal breaker. I’m thinking of getting a long bottom dual lid, then I’ll have the best of both worlds for any scenario.
Did you tip your tractor over while grappling that long tree? Hope your ok
No I’ve never tipped it over. But you can get up on 3 wheels pretty easy if you aren’t careful. Definitely need to take it slow doing this stuff. And pay close attention.
U ever calibrate that air guage?
I sure haven’t.
Can you fit two of them in your truck bed , and what size is your truck bed
I could in mine but it’s a long bed. But even with the toolbox in it I believe I could fit two no problem. Probably close to 8ft long, I’m not sure on the width I’ll have to measure. It’s a 2016 1 ton Ram.
Unable to watch video
I'm late to the party, but it seems like there might be a similar problem when using a straight or box blade when grading with an angle.
Interesting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I think if that catch was made from AR400 or similar that would solve many issues.
I do this before I spread lime and fertilizer every other year. My pastures and hay fields are once again bursting with growth even during our drought and heatwave.
Nice! It can definitely help!
Curious if cv joints are still in good shape.
So far they are OK. Maybe go out tomorrow but right now they are fine.
Awesome! I need to adjust mine, thanks heaps.
Don’t forget to loosen the jam nut first.
Have you ever used a drum/blade aerator? Less evasive to the top soil, cuts the roots, fractures the subsoil if done when it’s dry. Seems way more durable and makes for way quicker work. We’ve used a RanchWorx on our farm.
I haven’t but I’ll have to check into one! Thanks!
Sometimes it's hard to hold straight but I found if you just do a shallow pass first it won't pull so hard
Yep that works. I usually do it after running the tiller through first so it goes pretty easy.
Thanks, checking mine now
👍🏼
Thanks very much. Managed to fix the issue on my gf502 thanks to you.
Thanks! Glad it helped!
In my experience the exact torque spec of a rotating device is less important than that they are all torqued the same.
Probably true. But if the manufacturer lists specific torque specs might as well follow them.
What brand gear box is that? I need to order one
It’s and BushHog brand cutter. These are the original gearboxes that came on the cutter. Only way I know to replace them is to find salvaged parts or a parts cutter and swap them out. You also might be able to get parts to repair it through a bush hog dealer.
Exactly what I was looking for. I have a 10 ton hudson trailer that I am replacing the seals on. Thanks!
You’re welcome. Glad it helped!
Good for Pats to at least make good on their product . I just bought a Pats for my 1953 Ford Jubilee I hope it fits
They did. No complaints on the customer service and really no complaint on the product as I was probably using it outside its intended purpose. But I think you’ll enjoy it on the Ford hitch!
Dang, you have all the cool toys. Nice trailer and skid steer. Nice job.
I wish the skid loader was as mine! It belongs to my neighbor. Man they can do a lot of different things.
Great video bud ,really like that cutter and the grapple is money well spent they pay for themselves quickly ,Great job on the cleanup
Thanks! Grapple was definitely worth every penny! It has saved me hours and saved by back too haha. And definitely getting my use out of the cutter as well, it’s a tough sucker.
