Prop Comparison - EP. 1: Mercury Fury 3 VS. Tempest Plus!
This video shows a side by side comparison on the water of two props. The Mercury Tempest Plus 25P Prop and a Fury 3 24P Prop are two similar props, but we ran them both on my Phoenix PHX21 to see the performance and compare the two props.

Love the video. Graphing up north on lakes with big boulders out deep, I usually set my range to 100-250ft…works pretty well
Definitely!! The bigger the object the more range you can look at because they pop out more!! Side imaging can definitely save a lot of time!

Drop shot is one of my favorite rigs to fish. I even tried it in the flats in Florida on vacation with a small shrimp soft plastic and it worked phenomenally.

do you turn off sonars on graph or unplug transducer to minimize risk of hurting the transducer running out of water?
@@adam-oz1jo I don’t. I’ve never had an issue with it messing up the transducer. It is easy to turn them off from the power menu though if you were worried about it. I just never do

Solid explanation been playing around with my lvs34. Perspective in shallow water makes sense you can clearly see things get messy in forward facing in shallow water.

Another reason y I use quick clips. Skip the split rings altogether and u can swap baits out faster. Also makes fishing w neuropathy more fun

What happens if you don’t calibrate it?
The bottom may fluctuate a bunch and not show up properly. Also your waypoints will be off if you mark a specific Spot on the livescope
