Bro correct me if I'm wrong.. I think since the gas in balloon is an ideal gas, in adiabatic process the pressure is decreasing and the temperature is also decreasing as the balloon is expanding by using some of its internal energy.. then the density of gas will decrease due to pressure decrease and increase due to temperature decrease. But for isothermal the density of gas will decrease due to decrease in pressure only because temperature remains constant... Then the decrease in density of gas in adiabatic is less than isothermal process. Since the mass needs to constant the volume in isothermal process is higher than adiabatic process....

Interms of energy, when balloons undergoes the adiabatic process, it should give up its internal energy for the volume rise between the given initial and final pressure Incase of isothermal process, the balloon should transfer the heat to the water for the volume rise between the same given initial and final pressure.. Amount of heat interacted > amount of internal energy change for a given pressure difference( oh god i just ended to think using mathematical relation ) Dammmm
