Honestly, i miss when this game was just a website game back in like 2015, it just felt more fun to me then, maybe its because i have grown up now to 21 or whatever, but back then the game felt more genuine.

I do think this is weird, if Im not mistaken Wildworks said they were doing great financially so I don't understand why they'd do this? Im also currently struggling with the support team, since I lost the email to my account and they refuse to do anything until I show billing info. (which I have done no transactions) yet I've given them loads of other verifiable proof. Seems like greed to me 🥲

really long comment, sorry) I used to play a lot in 2018-2020 (I was still a teenager at the time) one of the things I liked to do was try to get rares, like, I know they're just pixels but I thought it was a fun challenge unfortunately I ended up losing my old account due to my mistake (I deleted my old email and forgot to change it) and I only now decided to start playing again but my goodness - there are a lot of things that I was like?? 1- the new exchange system 2- the store system (another reason to have to buy sapphires if you want to have good/cool things) 3- unicorns and dragons (looks like a betting game) and my biggest disappointment is with the rainbow pets, the amount of sapphires, real money and time spent just for a colorful pet is very stupid, especially now that bees are no longer bought for gems :( Sorry for the long text, I needed to vent and my English is kind of bad so I had to use Google translate

Mobile games that primarily tell you to pay real money for an item and later have an option to use in game currency should be against app guidelines or something. Thats such scummy behavior to do to children.

I'm an adult now but occasionally i'll check out classic and play wild just to see what's going on. I didn't notice they were in the petshop either and I just started browsing through explorer to see how people were pricing them. I feel like the toxic way of running things like these makes the players become somewhat toxic as well. I've known the company behind animal jam was greedy but man, playwild didn't have as many microtransactions as it did before.

I miss it when Wildworks still owned Animal jam beacuse they was not so greedy but then when Animal jam was sold to Nazara Animal jam turned into a very expensive game the animals the dens everything became more expensive beacuse Nazara is money hungry

Ok so, I wouldn’t go as far to say as they are scamming, but there was definitely mistakes made…

I never gave aj real money. Allways look for the way with saphires lol I was on reddit when they released and people already were talking about this. So I joined and started also warning people about the scam. Sad for the people who thought they can sell the tokens for around 1k ToT

it’s hilarious to me that i found this video right after animal jam refunded my credit card from a mishap a week ago😭 i was buying 6 month membership for 30 dollars but it was refusing to go through using my card, so i ended up trying it quite a few times. eventually i ended up just using paypal instead but after a few hours i realized that aj had taken 60 dollars PLUS those 30 dollars using paypal from my account even though i never received those initial purchases😀 took my bank a week to get my money back but boy was that an experience

ive really been contemplating getting into playwild since classic doesnt get any of the cool updates but shit like this and the obnoxious amount of micro transactions on playwild really steers me away :/

I fell for this scam through explorer. Saw people selling them for 70 saps each and since I thought they could only be purchased through the premium shop I bought 12. Lost 240 sapphires 😞.

It makes no sense that they would also put them in stores for 50 sapphires. If they are trying to make money then don't sell them for sapphires. This makes me think this might be a mistake.
