The Flowing Dutchman is BACK in Long Beach 2023
Its been almost 4 years since the big man from Holland visited Team UA over here on the west coast. Harbert Egberts aka The Flowing Dutchman is an international ambassador for macebell training in all of its forms. His documentary style voyages to spots in India where most aren't even allowed to enter have earned him quite an amazing youtube reputation. We always roll out the red carpet for this guy when he comes down to Long Beach this time was no different. Safe travels harbert it was fun as always!

    Wanting to get my 11 year old grandson interested in fitness, I stumbled on the Bulgarian Bag and then found your video. I love this as a part of a whole body approach to fitness.     Nice ! I was pushing 4 - 45 lb plates on sled . A lady next to me pushing 6 of em 😳💪🏾😤🔥 I fist bumped and that day vowed to get to 10 plates ! I'm up to 8 but I got a lil dizzy after 2nd lap 😵‍💫

      @@troymatthews9541 the ADEX mace is known for its thinner handle width and it’s not my preference. I love the handles between 1.5-2 inches.

      @@unconventionalathletetv1009 what do you feel like they truly encourage you to do more reaps and because it's harder to control challenge your anti rotators more deeply? So I might just get a thin handle and then if I want a thicker one put tape and foam around the handle

      @@troymatthews9541 I don’t know about all that, the thinner handles make you end up sliding down against the pommel at some point during sets and feel a little tweeky on the wrists, just my preference. Same with my gym members, the ADEX never got used just collected dust we eventually got rid of it. Doesn’t mean those maces won’t work perfect for someone else tho👍

    This is a fantastic instructional video! Probably the best I've seen. I wish you had one for the Suples Ball. I just got a 9 pounder but think I should start with a Bulgarian Bag. Have you tried the Suples Ball?

    5:46 water makes every movement unstable. Sometimes the water will favor one side of weight

      I think that’s an authentic Bulgarian bag, which is filled with packets of sand then wrapped in wool.

      @@unconventionalathletetv1009 make it weigh 80 pounds for all swings and shield cast side sings rotational swings you name it do halve that weight and build up to 60 and then just add oz to the system every now and then also add Listerine and alcohol to the bag just to sterilize the water
