I am considering trying this in a few days' time. Is it exactly 13 laps or is it the proper half marathon distance, meaning you would finish about 300 metres further on from the point where you start?

Doing it in 11 days’ time. Cannot wait!

Great idea and concept, but completely useless unless you want to run carrying your phone.

I think Hoka, et al, are avoiding the Vibram Five Fingers debacle / lawsuit situation by not stating recovery as fact. That said, when my plantar issues arise, these are very comfy and therapeutic compared to going barefoot, which was my preferred recovery approach previously.

Ooh, I did L2B in 2018 - I did it with British Heart Foundation back then and the route was very different! I'm signed up to do it with Ultra Challenge this year, looking forward to going a different way ☺️ not looking forward to the pain 😅

When promoting a pair of footweaar, why do you hold them rather than film your feet in action wearing the sandals? It would be so much easier to visualize your explanation about the meta rocker design if you had walked in these gems and pointed out the meta rocker effect. Using your finger to show the squishyness of the sole pales in comparison to if the sandals had your entire body weight on them.

This is why android sucks, no one can update their games for all those different phones. Iphone is streamlined to just work perfectly

I just bought one o this shoes in a second hand store in Guatemala it will be the one I'll use in London this year for the 42 km and I payed about 3 dollars they still new wish can afford to buy a diferen model but no chance I'll use this .and I m agree with your opinion. Question: How do they know what lap you are on? Or are you expected to know this yourself and look out for markers?

I bought a similar version of these shoes (the Reebok All-Terrain Thunder 2.0) back in 2016 and keep putting off trying them out. On-foot, they feel like they have no fusion at all, like I’m standing in a pair of fancy Crocs. Do you think that if I put a pair of Ortholite sport insoles in, it would make a difference? Or was the debris-catching tongue so bad that not even a better insole would fix this shoe?

Just started using it, I haven't had many issues with it I do wish I could sync my fitbit to it but I have leggings with pockets so it's not a huge pain to have my phone on me I walk in my treadmill and just run in bursts when there's a "chase"

I'm glad this is working for some people. I'm just disappointed that it doesn't use Pokemon Go technology. I thought it was going to have me run to different parts of my neighborhood collecting item or points.

the shoe is surprisingly heavy and it smells after getting wet a few times due to nubuck layer, i don't wear then anymore.. i will buy newer Hoka Hopara that is much lighter and all synthetic.

Trouble is.. I’m a slow poke, and there doesn’t seem to be many runners in this race... I’d worry I’m either lost, or they’d have packed up by the time I get there 😂 That finish line.. echo echo... 😂 Great vid, thanks for the review.. think I’ll have to check the details for this one..

re: sizing the gaps between EU sizes is 6mm and the gap between UK sizes is 8mm. Any shoe size range of a shoe that doesn't have fractions in either there EU sizes or uk sizes is lying to you.
