What a masterpiece

This all makes me feel like my life is Tres Boring! To go down the steps, leave the door closing behind me, step out into that world....put on my best performance.

I'll get the DVD from time to time, it never gets old, only a few movies I can do that with.

I don't know if there's an alternative description of this kind of music. It is at once mesmeric, soothing, contemplative, relaxing, meditative, and loosening (of any pent-up issues). I think it should be an integral part of therapy that many people pay a lot of money to unwind and loosen up. I saw Bladerunner several times and the Vangelis Blues theme was and remains a key focus of the movie. Life in a highly concentrated modern urban jungle fits the music perfectly, even if if it's not raining 24/7. I don't know any other music that fits so well.

All those moments will lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die.

I just envisioned my death in passing walking alone along that road wearing long dark trenchcoat all beautiful young long haired entering slowly walking upon this road all of a sudden my fun beautiful friends from the 70s & 80s that preceeded me in death many years ago when too young begin appearing one by one from alleys doorways balconies and rooftops smiling beautiful young again too with outstretched arms welcoming me in so happy to see me and vice versa. Is this a grim thing or weird thing? 🌙 😊❤

I went with a group of friends to see this the first time. From the start I was transfixed, my eyes never left the screen. The world could have been falling apart around me and I wouldn't have noticed. Like a man dying of thirst, I wanted to drink in every detail without wasting a drop. Later, well after leaving the theater, my friends had plenty of jokes at my expense, at how I had sat motionless, wide-eyed and open mouthed the whole movie not even noticing when they took my drink away. I had a drink? Yeah, Blade Runner was transformative, ahead of its time but at precisely the right time for a kid my age at the time. Rutger's performance as Roy Batty is iconic, who hasn't seen that? Being named Roy myself, Roy Batty's death made an impression on me that day in the theater. All these years later I owe many of my best memories in life to that scene, moments I might have missed had I not slowed down and paid attention to the details, the special moments that pass quickly never to be seen again. The ones that keep me going during the lonely moments. More than any lesson in school, the lesson of being present in the moment was the most important, and that is Blade Runner's lesson. I, unfortunately, have never seen C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate, but still I have seen some pretty amazing things you people wouldn't believe. And I hope you have too, just because our memories don't last forever doesn't make them any less valuable.

blade runner would have just been a short shelved life movie...but with this soundtrack it made deckard, roy, priss....and rachel, immortal.

Saw this in theaters a few months ago. Every shot is composed like a painting, and a video like this shows that off in a lovely way. I think that’s a big part of why Star Wars is so beloved. It’s an ancient and mysterious world, but it *feels* real.

i have seeing this movie more them 200 times. This movie helped me to overcome bad times. 30 Years has gone and I stille know every inch of this masterpice. I just love this movie, my favorit scene, Decker in the balcon and lucking down…. and the Music… just amazing..❤️
