Hello Bunny Lovers!
My name is Kris and this is a channel about my 4 year old Holland Lop Rabbit, Astro aka Spacebun (male).
Last February 2019, Astro had an ear infection and had his first ever atypical seizure. Ever since we healed his ear infection his seizures never went away. :(
We have been working along side our vet that specializes in small animals, specifically rabbits, ever since to treat and care for Astro. After numerous vet visits and testing we have concluded that he has a rare condition called epilepsy.
There are very few informational videos out there about how to treat rabbits with seizures so I wanted to create a channel to support others that may be going through the same thing with their little buns. Just know that your rabbit can still live a happy life with this condition.
Any advice given, comes from what our vet has told us, however, do reach out to your rabbit savvy vet if your bun shows similar symptoms.

Hello all, As you know our rabbit has seizures from time to time. This is one of his worst ones yet. Fortunately we were there to see it and support him through it. His head convulses backwards as if he is going to fall so we prevent him from hurting himself. He remains disoriented after a seizure often losing mobility in his front legs from anywhere between 5-20 minutes.
