Thank you for bringing clarity to this subject. John 8:31-32 and John 15: 7 have long stood as scripture that both encourage and correct the ones who will examine him or herself in the faith, honestly, seeing if there be any error in our walk. Our Liberty is only in Christ. Blessings to you! Praying others will listen.

Thank you Pastor Matt. Feeling overwhelmed again...with anger. And depression. NEEDED to hear this sermon this morning. BEEN HOLDING THAT ANGER, TEARS, DISAPPOINTMENT OUT OF SIGHT. GIVING IT HIGH PRIORITY OVER GOD INSTEAD OF LEAVING IT FOR GOD'S GOOD.

How right you are Pastor!! We often come to Him on our own terms, and want it done our way. Right here...right now. We also pray, "thy will be done, but do we really mean it? And sing "have thine own way Lord", but way too often our heart is not in it. No wonder the prophet said "This people draw near to me with their lips and honor me with their tongue and yet their heart is far from me"

Yes we do need to make the hay while it is dry, because if it is too wet...it can catch fire.. The same goes with witnessing. Unfortunately, we figure that someone else will do it, and thus may never get done.

I grew up with the Hartland Church 50 years ago. Love that your sermons are now online and can be viewed even though I'm many miles away and can't physically be there except when visiting family. May God Bless you on our journey through life.

How right you are, because we all seem to fail in some way or another about that.

I love how you explain to the viewer how they need to be saved through repentance, and by accepting Jesus Christ into one's heart and life. Going to church, reading one's Bible, or any other "good work" that we could ever muster will never get us into heaven. And unfortunately, many good people who go to church have never asked Jesus into their life..so are on their way to hell.

Even though I'm watching this one month later, I feel that corona virus is just a political ploy by some that are trying to destroy this country. Besides, if we are NOT just playing church...we have NOTHING to fear when Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.

I'm finally able to get on TH-cam so I can hear this, though it is the 4th of May. He IS the ONLY way into heaven!!!
