Fantastic arrangement and performance!
Very ordinary, the organ loud but not warm and robust and the choral conducting minimal and lacking inspiration. The performance feels as if it is going to stall on take-off and landing. Actually it never gets of the ground.
Majestic!
HELL YEAHHHH HHHHHHHH BROTHERRRR that was SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Yes brings back memories!
I don't have the adequate adjectives to describe this ,, makes me think I am already in heaven
It is best a cappella
Beautiful!
Splendid. Is it a university group
Trop lent !
A resounding, all encompassing AMEN.
who is the organ builder?
C.B. Fisk - Gloucester, Massachusetts Opus 100
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Amazing voices as the Choir sings Martin Luther's hymn. YHWH bless you!
Really powerful arrangement!! Please search up the Millennial Choir&Orchestra 2023 recording of "A Mighty Fortress" because it is also very stirring. th-cam.com/video/uIktMTB9Fmo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SLWb-clK2-N6Xw4C
Where can I get this arrangement for Choir and Orchestra?
Absolutely incredible! May God be praised!!
Well done!
Hollywood meets Wittenberg. Somehow diminishes the hymn’s impact for me.
Doing this for NY All State. I can't wait!
Me too😄😄
IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
This was incredible! I noticed that the organist wasn’t even facing the conductor. That’s also very impressive. I do love this ancient hymn. Absolutely beautiful!! I’m sure it was just breathtaking to hear in person. To God be the glory.❤❤❤❤
He has a page turner, and probably also is using some mirrors setup for a view of conductor. Also, they are well practiced indeed.❤
@@julietchristensen3957very good point. I remember being in choir when I was a teenager and we definitely rehearsed the music over and over again before concerts. Yet I don’t think we could have performed at the concerts without our director. Especially with starting each song. But these guys are clearly better and more advanced than my school choir and orchestra. Though we did first place in California performing arts and got to perform at Disneyland and spend the day there.😎
That was very impressive
How to fuck up a hymn
Dreadful
Far too slow and heavy and dragging
Finally someone performed this with energy and the proper tempo! Some many people slow it down, it looses all of its fervor!
puji konjuk ing Gusti ana ing luhur
Applauding loudly- beautiful song and takes a lot of skill to maneuver all the key changes and notes- thank you for sharing (even if this comment is 5 years later) :)
Quando entrei, haviam 666 curtidas. Então dei meu like pra fazerem 667 joinhas, pois essa música é muito bonita pra ser associada a esse número 😂😂
Well done!
Enjoyable- thank you for sharing
Thank you for sharing this beautiful hymn.
Tremendous singing & practice work. Keeping people together & practice is a major managerial task. Great organ
Belissima interpretação desse clássico da música cristã. A Deus toda honra e adoração
Magnificent! Well done

Absolutely soul stirring- a mighty fortress He is indeed!! Well done!
Magnificent!
Thank you posting. I have heard the original meter and phrasing only once before, in live performance -- nice contrast for the opening verse. Interesting and original arrangement. (Nice set of organ and human "pipes," too.)
Dedicated choir
My favorite Hymn I play it a lot in church. Excellent
1 A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing; our helper he, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing. For still our ancient foe does seek to work us woe; his craft and power are great, and armed with cruel hate, on earth is not his equal. 2 Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing, were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God's own choosing. You ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he; Lord Sabaoth his name, from age to age the same; and he must win the battle. 3 And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God has willed his truth to triumph through us. The prince of darkness grim, we tremble not for him; his rage we can endure, for lo! his doom is sure; one little word shall fell him. 4 That Word above all earthly powers no thanks to them abideth; the Spirit and the gifts are ours through him who with us sideth. Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also; the body they may kill: God's truth abideth still; his kingdom is forever!
Nanik Dasani, , Thank you for posting the words. God bless you
not the lutheran original musical setting..sadly
Nice
Wow, beautiful song. God is honorable with this kind of interpretation. The view of the place is also majestic.
Here are the original lyrics from Martin Luther, 15hundredsomething: th-cam.com/video/rOm1_ta4rGI/w-d-xo.html Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott, Ein gute Wehr und Waffen; Er hilft uns frei aus aller Not, Die uns itzt hat betroffen. Der alte böse Feind, Mit Ernst er itzt meint, groß Macht und viel List sein grausam Rüstung ist, Auf Erd ist nicht seins-gleichen. th-cam.com/video/rOm1_ta4rGI/w-d-xo.html
I miss "The Mort." I did indeed enjoyed this.
In numbers there is strength
What a performance, what a message
We performed this at our church today. I knew my brother was singing at Jesus’ throne with us
