Episode 12. The Legend of Trevor Lawrence The Jacksonville Jaguars have just signed their starting Quarterback Trevor Lawrence to a new record breaking contract after only three seasons with the team. The former 1st overall selection has had his moments but has not clearly separated himself from the pack. And some may argue he has not even reached the top QBs in the league just yet. Prior to th...

If y'all take time and look at his contract y'all will understand why they paid him now instead of complaining about his contract.
The price will only continue to rise for a starting QB. But will he still be the guy in 3 years?
Dude...stop it. Blake Bortles was trash, I have watched EVERY game start to finish that both players have played with the Jags. He had one good year on a STACKED team that had one of the best Defenses of all time. Bortles threw more ducks in one game than Trevor has thrown in his career.
Correct, Bortles was BAD but Lawrence hasn’t put up much better numbers than him so what does that say?
The Niners were down when Brock came in against the Dolphins.
And worth "EVERY DAMN PENNY".
Bingo
I still say they don’t have enough WR weapons to compete in the Elite AFC
Lamar needs some more help. Zay Flowers is the truth but Ravens need another option to really open it up.
@@LegitJonex Lamar still waiting for that big injury running all the time, then shoulders get pounded. Henry will be an interesting fit
@@LegitJonex that mark Andrew’s injury was nasty when will he be 100%?
He should be healthy and ready week 1. With Andrews and Likely building off of last season the Ravens offense just need a solid #2 WR
He's just dak prescott he can't get to superbowls and last time he won mvp he got hurt the next season and I expect him to get injured again
Dak hasn’t accomplished anything Lamar has tho😂 this is a one sided, shallow take. This is honestly like saying Philip rivers, Drew Bree’s, and countless other hall of fame QBs weren’t good because their era was dominated by Tom Brady
You must NEVER PLAYED FOOTBALL! Just a SPECTATOR!
I agree with this one. Lamar has been ballin just hasn’t made it to the Super Bowl yet. He’s been dynamic and efficient.
Football is a team sport he plays for himself and will never win a superbowl guaranteed plus he can't keep playing like this with his size he is very injured prone and you can't count on him year in and year out
Now let’s do the last team to win a SB with the highest paid WR. I’ll wait………
🎯
Oh my gosh the glazing is insane
🤯
Choose your starting QB for 2024 - Lawrence or Lamar Jackson ⬇️
TREVER IS SO OVERRATED
Insane glazing
😂🍩
Well, one has two league MVPs and the other is Trevor Lawrence
Lamar is a fraud who gets carried by a top 3 defense and can’t win important games for his team
@@Jackson82747 Lamar Jackson was carried during both MVP seasons?
This was a very good video but I hope Trevor Lawrence ends up being elite next season 🤗
I hope so too. Thank you!
Excuse me, sir, but why do you know what duck shit tastes like? Actually, I don’t want to know. Just leave the ducks alone from now on.
😂😂
Tyreek is better
Why do you think so?
He is faster. But Jefferson is the better route runner. Tyreek more hands. Tyreek more experience
Idk if Tyreek hands are better than JJ but Tyreek more explosive
@@LegitJonex yea but everyone has there opinions I have mine everybody might have different opinions
100% that’s what makes football fun to talk about and discuss.
Lost me at “current” “of all time” in the same sentence
For better reference the highest paid of all time has changed 3x in the last 3 months. Are you still lost?
I would say that it’s better than waiting until after his 5th year and having to pay him +60m a year because someone rose the price the year before. I think this was a strategic move. He definitely has the talent to be what everyone thought. However you don’t want to wait and pay him in a ever increasing market. I’ve watched everyone of his games in the NFL. As a Jaguars fan I was not on board with him coming here. But after watching his first season with Urban I seen he definitely has what it takes. Also your comparison is disingenuous, his first year was about as worst a situation and rookie qb can come into. Y’all haters don’t want to admit that though. You are right about the Lamar though.
As a strategic move I do think it could be smart to pay early because the price will only increase later. I’m just not convinced YET he will be the guy to take the Jags to the big games.
@@LegitJonex Just going to the playoffs is big games to us. Having us in the conversation is a step up. Expecting him to have expectation to go to the Super Bowl constant basis is unrealistic. Getting to one is possible and he’s shown he has what it takes to get us there.
The goal every year should be to compete for a chance to win the Super Bowl. A Top 3 earner at any position should be a true game changer in my eyes. Just paying to pay is not a smart routine the NFL as a whole has found it self in. Jags had potentially 2-3 season to keep evaluating and building around Lawrence. We have seen teams have more success with QBs on rookie deals where they can put the correct pieces together to help out young stars.
Ai video right
Not at all. Watch the related video to get a better context of what is being said.
Maybe he should cut off that hippie hair
Overpaid…but that’s why the Jags are the Jags.
Let's be honest their all overpaid so it really doesn't matter.
Bad management if your team still needs help
His contract will be surpassed soon enough. Cap is going up and QB's will be at $60 million soon.
Still should have to earn it tho
You are very wrong , if you put him in a talented team like the Niners and Chiefs . He will show you that you are wrong.
That would be any QBs dream lol
Dumb minshew has better stats with worse team
Crazy right
That question would I choose “A OR B” I said neither right away cause Numbers don’t lie but they don’t tell you the whole story especially with a small sample size if you know how the nfl works
I agree sometimes you have to dig deeper to see what’s really going on.
Don’t forget Cousins got hurt and they had like 2 backups throwing to him
Yup true
Great content. You deserve more than 140 views!
Thank you! Hopefully people will start catching on soon
I could’ve predicted it because I did! I’ve been a fan of Purdy’s ever since he started playing at ISU! Dude is the greatest ISU QB in history and was the best QB in the BIG 12 his entire time at ISU.
That’s my Stigger
Chill out Brian. Let’s not play like that
This is my guy right here. Watch hes going to run shit soon
He’s a baller
Purdy will never get the respect but it won’t matter. He is what he is, a competent qb on a great team
It’s easy to hate on Purdy but his consistency should be noted.
@@LegitJonex It doesn't seem that easy to me.
Purdy isnt good hes just like jimmy g. Hes in the best system with the best coach with the best offensive weapons.
He’s surrounded by weapons but he’s a better play maker than Jimmy G
@@LegitJonex Jimmy G threw for 4 thousand yards 27 touchdowns 13 interceptions. Purdy threw for 31 touchdowns 11 interceptions. Purdy played 1 more game than Jimmy G so if he played the yards would've been the same. Purdy is nothing special he put up the same shit as Jimmy G and Jimmy G was benched last year.
If Shanahan was the best coach they wouldn’t have lost those two super bowls.
@@KirkSpreiterRealty I'll correct myself he's the best offensive coach in the NFL
@@Michael-fb6ve that’s debatable when his situational play calling needs serious work and his clock management is atrocious. I’ll give it to him that he does design some effective plays but the other aforementioned flaws are seriously limiting him towards greatness. I’m not sure his character is going to allow himself to fix his issues. Therefore, I can’t concur that he is the best but then again the bar is not very high in the league right now for offense so I’ll succumb to him having the best offense in the league that he runs.
Justin Jefferson has been an absolutely the Wide Receiver for the Minnesota Vikings breaking records every year. Justin Jefferson will definitely beat Randy Moss Records of catches, yards and touchdowns.
He’s definitely on track
@@LegitJonexOh Yeah He wants it to happen plus that what his track to do all and prove the people that he is the Best Wide Receiver already in the Career and he took this team of the Griddy Dance and he can do everything even if he is in coverage because he can catches the balls over the defenders.
@@nikkicovington6389 100% hes special!
Game😂❤😂🎉😅😅😊😊😊😮😢🎉
No disagree he has a stacked team but he had to put that hard work in and god gave him a chance
100% Purdy is a winner
I was at that game watching Purdy step in was awesome i have a video of that cmc touchdown
🔥
So in the last 10 years it’s been the case for nearly half the seasons?
Since 2008 there have been 4 SB winning teams featuring a WR paid in the top 10
@@LegitJonex you just cherry picking stats because clearly in the last 10 years it’s been Moore of a possibility then not
We’re in 2024.
this is a really good video, should have wayy more attention

Thanks for watching!
All leagues are based in nepotism and not in a good way. They need insiders because they all know these leagues are scripted garbage. You can easily fill a roster with great talent from which ever teams local city.
Professional sports are not scripted. Talent can be found anywhere tho I do believe that. The best available should be given an opportunity to earn a spot.
@@LegitJonex911, patriot act, patriots greatest team ever ? “#11” brew Bledsoe gets taken down by mo Lewis a New York “jet” number 57. 5+7 = 12 Brady comes in the rest is history. C’mon bro scripted

NFL becoming the good ol Boys league
A lot of familiar names.
Man I got you on a short and I gotta say keep at it bro you could tell some damn good stories bro !!
Thank you! Thats the motivation I needed this morning 🤝
You could make an all-star team out of them parents 😂
Facts 🤣
All I’m saying is what has Tampa done since that SB win? The Chiefs used the loss for motivation and have since become a dynasty
Anytime you hear someone say "the first black" this or that you can almost guarantee that it's not the case. someone many decades earlier likely did the same thing but in a much more difficult situation. Ive never understood this
Where did you hear “the first black” said in this clip?
That Tampa defense was deebo
😂 they were tough
Last year the Chiefs had the #2 overall defense in the league and we beat the team with the #1 overall defense in the league In the AFC championship game in their home stadium.
Yeah but we’ve since won 2 in a row and are a dynasty and Brady is retired and TB is rebuilding
That Tampa team was built for the moment while the Chiefs were built to last. 💪
Vick was one of the worst passing QBs in history and abused dogs for fun. F that guy.
The dog fighting is inexcusable but Vick has redeemed himself and still remains as the pioneer QB who brought in the new era we see today.
I saw those last games and you fucked up!!
Yeah shouldnt have you ruined your own career
RG should have waited and healed up after injury. Watch the full length related video to see why that was hard for him and others.
