I agree with the homes in the greater NYC area are definitely riding a wave of inflation to a certain extent. It was built in 1974 and still has that overall feeling, styles, layouts, lifestyles and livability in homes fluctuate with each generation so homes like this really appeal to a select few. Where more modern homes have all the common and current day amenities and practical features which appeal to the general public with their current needs and wants.

Hey! So the area is a mix of professionals. There are plenty in finance, tech(Google and others), medical, marketing etc. That couples with Netflix opening a massive campus nearby, we are seeing a shift and TH-camrs are starting to buy up homes in the area. Plus it offers close access to beaches and multiple means of transportation to commute into NYC if needed.

Oh definitely! Markets dictate values and there are a lot of variables in that as well. Will be interesting as inventory is picking up in this area so even with high demand, we should see some prices correct.

Thanks for the comment. Different markets have different values. The home is already pending, but in other areas of NJ, I agree, this exact home may not be that value depending on the location and other variables.

Completely agree. My client and I saw that it was about 90% there and the home has been dramatically updated inside and out. Have a few options off market that could be a good fit depending on what you are looking for.

I know! Couldn’t have a pool here due to the water table but they put in a chipping and putting green.

There was some furniture in it when it was listed for sale, but homes of this degree absolutely have to be staged or furnished to the point where the home is more welcoming and feels more like a home. We filmed this during the transition of the sellers moving out and my clients moving in, but every time I showcase my own listings, the home is staged and always feels welcoming.
