My passion of Karate Kata has led me to develop ways of training to increase speed and power. I have learnt a lot from many other experts of Kata but have also sought to understand for myself how to improve training with a number of simple ways of training. I aim to help new and experienced Karate-ka to improve their Kata, to learn new Kata and to help them to improve their traditional and competition Kata.

8. Practice Traditional Roundhouse Kicks - Slow & Fast
9. Practice Traditional Roundhouse Kicks over a chair

I have devised this Kata to make sure I always warm down thoroughly and properly. Sutoretchi means Stretching in Japanese which is why I named it so. Esa kata es taykyaku shodan no es un Kihon
Yes this kata is called Taikyouku Shodan in shotokan karate. But Kihon means "basics" so this kata is considered a basic technique that's why some people call it Kihon.
