I am assuming you reside in England based upon your "accent"? I am really surprised because I was told by my former English friends that England was very cautious about spam and privacy of their residents. I didn't think harrassment such as this happened in England. I guess scammers attack EVERYONE. Anyone and everyone is fair game. Probably even King Charles! Or Queen Elizabeth when this video was taped and put on the Internet. 😳.

All good advice, thanks. Regarding the phoney HMRC Scam, the call, text or mail will also advise you that you are due for a tax refund. Working on the basis that you will welcome this news, the scammers will then ask you to provide bank details in order for you to receive ‘the refund’ which, is of course, non-existent. Beware!

if hes hmrc...just giving name...her can get info he needs...sure sign scammers full of shyte lol...I always say...well if you know my number then you already know who I am or you wouldnt have rung me....ask them whats my address then they usually know they have been sussed.....btw court house in uk ?...thats red flag too

also you dont get arrested for one call and refusing to pay.....hrmc do not send police....if you really owe tax you may go to court,only the would court send law if you dont attend...after a letter warning...then sometimes you asked to re attend..

indian accent (scammers in india ruin legit businesses...most hear the accent and hang up usually nowadays...)...and the "for verification purpose" screams SCAM....would get them call back and waste their time AND money on call...no way would that guy get past HMRC interview,,his english is shitty and grammar poor,no way would he be allowed to talk to customers....hes really bad...good on you letting him waste his time....guy certainly doesnt know the laws here....also if emplyed...no way would someone get in trouble for taxes...unless you owed a rebate,but thats a letter anyways...this sammers a pond life ....nope sorry pond life...hes scum

Oh I've had at least 4 of these "HMRC" calls. Always telling me I'm the victim of identity theft but even as the victim of this crime if I don't comply with what they say I'll be arrested in 30 minutes and also I need to pay anywhere from £1200 - £1500 to clear my name despite the fact I'm the victim??? I'm still confused as to how the "victim" is held so responsible for what a criminal does? Anyway I write this from home not a prison cell, so I guess I wasn't in trouble!

I tell them I'm handicapped and unable to get outside, but I have cash if they will be so kind as to come to my door for payment. A few of them actually showed up. They are buried along with their parted-out vehicle out in the back by the swamp. Anybody need some cheap tires ?

I often get these scam calls!! I string them along for a while, until I get through fumbling a false credit card number and right at the end I ask them are you listening carefully?? Then I BLAST A WHISTLE down the phone line!!😮🤣😂🤣😂

If documents cannot be served for any reason there is no case. IRS always send letter defining the mistakes and request to correct them.
