    My dad showed me that, while wearing gloves similar to what you had on. after getting the solder sucked in to the joint, run a gloved finger around it to clean it up (before it hardens fully).

    Hey Evan your disrespecting our state tree and spread misinformation. Your cut was incorrect that is not how you properly trim a branch it’s a 3 cut method and you prune right outside the branch bark ridge not inside the crotch. And your saw saw is a hack get some really tool. Second not ladders don’t go with tree trimming it’s called fall protection and ppe. This video makes you look like an uneducated clown mixing up facts and telling half truths. Learn how to climb safely and cut trees properly. Trees are naturally aerodynamic and don’t need to be opened up to provide clearance for the wind. This tree also braces itself so when you remove all those branches it flexed to the point were it breaks. Read a book and learn something before you try and teach. 😢

    Worst way to prune this tree! It's called lion-tailing or gutting a tree. I won't explain more because you can google those terms.

    So, you don't have a "collar" to preserve when trimming? Collars often contain antibiotic hormones? So, it helps keep the tree healthy. Why is there not this collar-sensitivity? Please.

    Stick to mountain bikes bruh and let the pros handle your tree. This is not how to trim a tree. Especially the time of year and frequency. You’re also supposed to trim right before the stalk. 🤦‍♂️

    Can you recommend a tree in the AZ desert that doesn't take so much care and has NO thorns?? My arthritis is my wrists that lots of trimming is hard on me and, being retired, hiring a pro is very, very expensive. BUT, I do need some shade. Thanks for the informative video.

    • @jasonmcqueen1411
      @jasonmcqueen1411 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Desert Museum hybrid doesn't have thorns and is extremely easy to take care of. You don't even need to trim them at all and you would still be left with a beautiful tree.

    These palo verdes grow wild here in South Texas my wife and I bought a few acres of land and there was a few dozen small what I thought were just shrubs all over our land and since we got the house they've grown about eight feet and our horses have trimmed them for us they now look like trees and are so drought heat and freeze resistant plus all the shade they give they're amazing I love these trees we also have mesquite and Mexican ash and Mexican white oaks they're all super fast growing 😀

      You never cut the tops of a tree to scale back ( death of tree). Better to know the height of what a full mature tree will be before purchasing.

    Thank you for posting everything you went through. I despise cut videos where the person stops recording during a problem and then magically, in the next clip, the project is finished. Our house has aluminum wiring, had asbestos ductwork and probably has oddball fittings like yours. The bread idea was clever.

    Wow! You said your Dad was an electrician. What kind of electrician? I can not believe that he works for an electrical contractor. These are the code violations that I saw. Single conductors run unprotected inside walls from boxes and out to the panel. Illegal No connectors at the two junction boxes and at the panel. Illegal No GFCI protection for the receptacles or GFCI receptacles in a garage. Illegal Two conductors on the receptacle ground terminal. Illegal Unsupported EMT between boxes. Illegal This kind of video truly drives me crazy!

    • @1percentSolutions23
      @1percentSolutions23 ปีที่แล้ว

      I saw same violations as well 😂, but he didn’t actually put two conductors on the ground screw. What he did was use the same conductor and shaved off a little bit just to go around the screw and connected the tip to the rest of the ground. I’m not sure what you call that way of pig-tailing but it was very common few years back.

    WOW! I thought you were a professional and knew I couldn't do what I was watching. Then at the end, hearing you, gave hope for all of us DIY-ers! I've been considering Shadow Hickory for awhile, I have a mantle that is dark with reddish hue and want a floor color that would enhance the mantle. This is the deepest Lifeproof at HD seems to offer, except Red Iron Oak, (which shows darker on the photo media page.) Regarding Wear Layer- Shadow Hickory is only 6 MIL (not mm) while Red Iron is 12 MIL. I worry about scratches, which after testing scratches on both 6MIL and 12MIL samples they both show scratches, but the 12MIL should hold up longer under normal traffic, dogs, furniture, etc. Why did you choose 6 MIL? How has it held up, and what type of traffic, scratches has it seen? Any problems with liquid spills, buckling, etc from every day life goings on? Again, you're amazing and John 14:14, states the truth. Hope married life is wonderful, ok, ok, there are days it's not, but married, or not, there are days, sometimes many, that we'd have anyway, but to have someone you can support, and they you, when not- wonderful's come around.....well, you can breathe a little easier.
