clipping does not get the wheelbase to overheat. People just don’t understand what clipping means. They take this clipping as something bad (which in theory is, but is bad for FFB details) and they just avoid it. Clipping means that the wheelbase is not able to reproduce some FFB and loses it. You don’t want that because you want to have the best FFB details, but it does not overclock the wheelbase, it does not forces the electric motor, and I clearly showed it in another video with my Fanatec GT DD Pro. In other terms is like having a subwoofer that works from 20hz to 30hz and you have a song that has bass as low as 5hz. That won’t overheat the subwoofer, but the subwoofer won’t be able to play that lows.

@nelchan2421 That’s a way of looking at things. If you do sports and eat healthy you can extend your life span, but not everybody does it. Not everybody that pays a lot of money for a thing wants to use it only at 75%.

If you want my opinion forget the T300 and chose between the R5 and the Cammus, even if they’re more expensive. They’re well worth it.

Honestly I don’t know. I never owned a 5nm Fanatec. Moza R5 is amazing, it has really good quality, one of the best QR sysyems. Maybe i’d pick Fanatec just because I know it has no overheating problems, whereas Moza still struggles with overheating.

@JulianNDL I like your videos just feel it would be better and more personable if you had your real voice that's all. Don't get upset, but yes they are going to work up to a certain temp then protect themselves and the power will dip a little. Like I said it shouldnt be that noticable though. Like simagic geta above 60c and dips off like 2nm. Asetek does the same. Some bases get hotter faster then others. Then you have fanatec that has some magic going on shit never gets hot so never worry there lol. But yeah simucube also does it. But yoyrs if noticable that def shouldn't happen in that way. I was just saying they all get hot well 99% of them except for fanatec who has really good cooking. But they all end up dipping off a little bit. Sry didn't expect you to get so heated, that was very aggresive lol. Maybe you get to many trolls around here idk. But try not to get triggered towards your commenter's. I legit asked why would you use an ai voice. Then explained my experience with idk pretty much every wheelbase on the market.

@@reviewforthetube6485 Now that's a comment I can relate with. The amount of hate I got on this channel made me quit doing videos. I just don't care anymore. I still let the videos online hoping they'll help someone. I don't argue with you that other wheel bases overheat as well. That's for sure. I argue with you when you say that's normal. It's not! It shouldn't be normal. Nobody would buy a car that overheats, nobody would buy a TV that overheats halfway a movie, and so on. Yea, exactly Fanatec is the perfect example here. If they can do it, others should do it too. My Asetek also gets really hot (even hotter than Moza) but it never limits FFB. Now, about the AI voice. You know a 9 to 5 job, 2 kids (1 new born)... the AI voice was the fastest way to do this videos. Fastest in editing, because filming them takes a lot of time. It's not that easy. Also, not being a native English speaker took me so much longer to do videos with my own voice (yes, I did the last videos on the channel using my voice and my face). Hope now we're on the same track. :D (btw. I`m not getting upset or mad about a comment anymore, i just reply the same way the person is writing me. Thank you for your second comment, because it proved your not just a kid loosing time on youtube)

@@JulianNDL ok makes sense. Thanks for the response man. Also happy you went with asetek. I've used practically everything only wheelbase i haven't owned is simucube but I have used them. Asetek imo is the most responsive wheelbase on the market and you feel so connected mid corner and controlled it truely improves your racing. So good choice and enjoy!

@JulianNDL I truely hope you atart doing videos again. The community has grown and tbh you would find more love then hate now. Plus people would really be into the asetek 😉. May sound dumb but people love enthusiast gear and idk why but it gets you more respect. It shouldn't be that way but it is.

At 80% you’re safe for sure. It overheated only at 100%.

It all depends on your budget. But still, in my opinion, there’s no such thing as a beginner wheel. Anyways I would recommend at least a Moza R5 bundle, and you can go as high as your budget allows it from here.

Cammus C5 is also a good choice. A DD wheelbase is always a good choice.

That’s the case also with the R5, R9 and, accordingly to some recent comments my videos got, some R12 have the same problems.

You’re very wrong. A real racing car needs that much power! A GT3 car’s ffb torque can go up to 13-14 nm. Yes, you can always lower the torque, but lowering 5 nm to less ruins all the fun that the R5 can provide.

@JulianNDL no! Lol jk I have already bought me some incredible equipment. Simagic ultimate 23nm, fx pro, gt neo and the p1000s. Lol so I'm good and paid a great price for it all. this was more worth it 😉
