@@FrogRacingunfortunately for the 2005 WRX STi you must pull the Hub completely and doing this means you have to replace the bearing, so for the 2005 STi on the rear the easiest method is to make a pilot hole large enough to fit the stud head through and reseal it with a rubber body plug, It took some research but this is the best method I think. The other option is enlarging the speed sensor hole.

Honestly I don't remember, if you look on the original harness it's the one next to the starter wire. I think it was black and yellow but double check that info, it has been a long time since I worked on this.

In ur other video it said green/black + black but thats for the push button set up u had so i dont know if its the green black or the black is the wire

So far we have had pretty good success with them. Build spares are they will wear out and if something really gets jammed it will bend the bracket. You could use a beefier bracket but I'd rather have the bracket give instead of transferring all the forces to the caliper. You will still get some wear on your calipers but it significantly extends their lifetime!

3/16' is pretty thick, I only use 1/8". The trick is to start with the top screw in the center and work down each side. It takes a bit of patience to align everything but once you have aligned the holes with the mud flap, the rest should fall in place. Note that some cheap aftermarket liners don't fit very well. Also STi liners are bigger than WRX.

If the head gasket damage is between the cylinder and a coolant passage then yes it would pressurize the coolant system. Usually you'd see little black particles of head gasket material in the expansion tank. If it's a failure between an oil and coolant passage you wouldn't see from this test but you'd have oil/coolant mix. There is always an amount of turbulence in the system especially when cold as the thermostat is closed and prevents the coolant from circulating through the radiator. This creates a backflow that generates bubbles. Once the thermostat opens the flow of coolant should be much smoother but you still get some amount of bubbles from the general flow and high coolant temps.

No it breaks right away when you break the bead. It needs more cleanup of the rim but it peels off easy.

Not sure if the WRX has the exact same size bearings as the STi, the concept is the same but lookup the exact part numbers for your model.

@@dany7425 if the header is powder coated do not heat wrap it but otherwise no issue. The cheap lava band type heatwrap that soaks humidity and fluids is not recommended though.

It is a full time job if you want to get sponsorship deals but the ROI for the investors is not really good unless you are a big brand name or celebrity. Most competitors in the US sponsor themselves through their own business writing it off as a marketing expense. Or you need a rich relative to pay for it :D

What are you talking about? This is for rallycross and we don't use TPMS sensors at all. And you don't setup TPMS sensors through OBD2 anyway 😂
