THANK YOU for this. I am brand new to crochet (and knitting). I have always wanted to learn and wanted to do something practical for a first, short, "easy" project. Have searched high and low for a pattern or recipe or tutorial. This made perfect sense and was easy to understand. Skipping the corner is such an easy way to crochet in the round. Other patterns I found, it never went up at the right rate (more bowl than bag/pouch lol). I want to try you knitte version next!

humm not really sure if I like this deck. You are right the queens all look upset. I do like that the pip cards go up to 10 something thats not part of traditional Italian cards. Thank you for the flip through

He actually offered two edition of this deck - one with square corners and one with round. I got both. I still find myself grabbing the squared corners. There’s just something about it

so there is a better way to start your chain so that you have loops on the side that didnt have loops. You just turn your chain around and crochet through the single loop on the back.

I ordered these cards and I already have an idea how to use them, I have a background in astrology, I plan to pull them and find out where those placements are and I know what house so I can find out how those energies of the cards effect the current alignments and my cosmic birth chart. ❤ thank you for sharing.

Used good old regular cornstarch from my kitchen and it worked like a charm ♥️ I have the same deck and at first I thought I wasn’t going to connect with it just because shuffling was so awkward with all the stickiness but I am so obsessed with shuffling it now. The difference is massive, thank you! ♥️ PS after coating my cards, I used a clean makeup brush to go over each card again with circular motions just to “buff in” the cornstarch and sweep away all the excess. It was so satisfying to watch the brush reveal how vibrant all the colors are beneath that layer of dust. 10/10 recommend for the therapeutic experience 😂

I'm a huge Waite-Smith enthusiast, but this is one of the few decks I'll keep because it's a classic, a favourite and the artwork philosophically stimulates my soul! Thanks for your wonderful talent and skills. It looks great! 🌟🌟🌟

I actually like a larger container so that I can wrap my cards in a cloth and include my crystals with my deck. Otherwise I end up having to remove the manual to do it.

Actually, cornstarch is not recommended for use on cards. It is formulated to absorb moisture, and other users say it will end up making your cards sticky over time.

Papus definition for 3 swords is realization of an enmity. which goes along with your explanation of the sola busca brightness in the background . imho Rws decks only have value for learning minors (some incorrectly) Which have to be adjusted later with experience .

Had the same problem with Dark Mansion deck. Tried many things, fanning powder as well. Improved a bit, but the powder covered the cards as a film. Wiping didn't help a lot. The deck still leaves my hands a bit sticky after using it. Will try again soon. May be another try will remove the old film as well )))

Using the 1JJ Swiss deck we played a card games with four family members.

I think the 4 Swords was originally seen as a bad card. It actually portrats a stone knight carved into the lid of a sarcophagus common over here in cathedrals. I think it's only modern decks that try to twist the meaning into something positive - even redrawing the image to feature a living knight ( a knight resting on a tombe - Premium tarot ) . I don't think a knight would actually do that given the reverance for religion and respect for aristocrats back then.

It’s incredible how similar the art style is between The two Burdels. Definitely Claude Burdel’s version is exceptional with all the details. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

OMG your mods are amazing! I have this deck since it first came out but had set it aside although the art is quite beautiful but now its going to be even better. I think the Aces are in black and white because they represent the germination of the suit so their energies are not quite in this realm yet... Yeah! I got burned on the witches tarot too. Got a knock off. Definitely if it says from china it is a fake. I do believe both the witches and the prisma are available on amazon pretty cheap

i got this deck, too, from Europe. I am pretty sure this is a fake :( these sell for $600 on amazon ...so I doubt either you or I got a real one :( mine looks exactly the same. There is no barcode on the box and Lo Scarabeo does not make mistakes :) unfortunately i have had these experiences....too bad.
