I like your design thoughts. Your shop is much like mine, and your use of shop materials is right on. Are you using 8" 1/4" wall pipe?HOw much clearance betweenchain and pipe id?Excellent build brother. I would suggest a good clean up sluice or a miller table instead of a pan, lots of small gold. Unfortunately mine will be built without a lathe and mill so it'll take a bit more manual labor

You might have a lot of tools but you have no clue how to run them, That camera job sucks too.

The big polishing/grinders are better than the little ones that turn a lot of rpms

That's cool, I'm also a Prospector and mechanic and in the middle of building a crusher out of a 7 in Snap on polisher/grinder, I haven't watched any vids because I didn't want to copy anyone, we used almost the exact same material, we should probably chat sometime or maybe hit a few places I have access too here in NC one of them being near an old mine

Great information but you desperately need better lighting !

After deleting my heater element…on morning startup the electric power still cycles off and on as if the heater was still installed. You can see it on the voltmeter and on the tach when the power kicks in and out…how do I turn off that unneeded power still being supplied to a non existent heater element?

Does anyone know the part number ?

Just delete the whole bowl and bracket and that fuel line that goes between the two. Larry b sells a kit that has a spacer two gaskets and line that go from the fuel line to the inlet of the lift pump.

great little rock crusher . the dust has killed more miners than cave one and robbers combined it causes worse lung disease than black lung. you might introduce water into the crusher to keep the dust down.

Does that new transfer pump from carter have a weep hole like the oem part? Cummins pumps today are made in China and not highly regarded.

Wow , that beast destroyed those samples , wicked build greg , seen a lot of diy rock crusher builds but this was built with a lot more thought and the results are unmatchable 👍🏻👍🏻

mine is a 91 model. what are all those wires for.lol. my heater looks like i could make a ham sandwich on it compared to this one.its all good. my cummins is the best engine i have ever used for work and play. it just walks up 4 wheelers butts and i am not even trying because butts are generally stinky

I've been broken down 7 months because of this. The dodge dealer screwed me out of 900 bucks, just to install the pump. 2 screws. 3 actually. I got screwed too.

I enjoyed the video. It doesn't look like you recovered enough gold to cover the electricity cost to run the rock crusher. Then again maybe you'll get better ore in the future.
