Was it painted? Or just literally weathering?
are those water decal slides or decals stickers
I have an HG kit of this model. I'd like to try this technique. Only I'll use acrylics.
Great video. I am wondering, do you bother filling seams?
Love it
amazing, how does this person get away with not cracking the plastic? I'm in awe.
Unless he gave the model a clear coat first.
How long do you wait to thin out the enamel paint? I REALLY wanna try this because battle hardened mobile suits looks so cool. Also, does the weathering work not chip away over time?
Simple yet versatile, this is so great!
are those decals or water slides
Is it safe to use enamel-based paints, thinners and washes? I heard Bandai plastic does not react well to these.
Bought this kit today, my first gunpla. It's a nice little piece on its own but this process took it from a nice toy to a gorgeous statue. I'm very interested in trying my hand at it, a little nervous maybe, but I'm going to give this a go.
looks great 🥰
Hi first of all awesome work What water decals are you using?
Boss, how about the ratio between thinner and enamel paint?
Do you top coat at the end to seal it all in?
what did u mix with the enamel paint to thin it? water?
Sansador thinner or mineral spirits
You deserve more views and likes
Do you spray topcoat on before weather effects? What are some Pro and cons of doing so before or after?
too much?
Do you topcoat then weather?
More content like that bro🔥🔥
Titan?
I hear that enamel paints and its thinner make plastic brittle and easy to break, did you use any protection method before putting a bunch of them on the parts that have a lot of cracks and crevices like 1:10 thanks
I'm surprised how many people seem to enjoy this ridiculously heavy-handed approach to weathering. This doesn't make your model look "weathered", it looks like it's been rolled around in the dirt and stepped on. IMO light, subtle weathering looks best and makes your models look the most real. Less is more with this sort of thing. Also, going for this super dirty look and then coating with a semi-gloss instead of matte? Make it make sense.
Some people enjoy the rusty look, man. It looks like it's aged and been through some heavy battles. I see the softer weathering as a nice lighting/texture effect, but I really like the battleworn weathering rusty effect probably more. Plus, painting can be therapeutic. 🙂👍
@@xcalicojack So when I said " I'm surprised how many people seem to enjoy this", you thought I needed to hear: " Some people enjoy this". Ok.
@Jukeboxer11 actually you were talking about enjoying the heavy-handed approach to it all, and I was trying to explain how people do this because they enjoy the rusty look. Two different things, since you're so smart. But it's clear you're a very grumpy person. So I'll just pat you on the head, tell you it's gonna be ok, and leave you alone. Good bye. 🙂
@@xcalicojack Yea you just decided to leave a patronizing response to a month old comment. Someone here has issues, and it's not who you think it is. I know people enjoy it. That's why I started my comment by saying "people enjoy it". That's obvious, which means you just sought out to be hurtful. Seek help.
@@Jukeboxer11 lmao ok dude.
What top coat should i spray over once i finish? (i like changing poses alot)
awesome collection! 🤙🏻
Una duda: cuánto tiempo dejas secar el lavado de pintura para luego remover los excesos?.
I had no idea you painted this looks great!
am i need to top coat again after finish al these step? or just once in the beginning before doing this? I want to do this with my PG Strike gat x105
First time makes everything have a surface to stick to instead of smooth plastic and do it again when you finish to protect your work. 🙌
Clear sanding stick is clever
You took an entry grade and made him an ART GRADE. Lovely work, I would love to learn those skills I have a lot of questions about it. For example, 1. "Tamiya Thinner can break plastic", does it breaks every plastic? I've hear that it destroys ABS plastic but what about PS plastic? The Top Coating can protect the pieces? 2. In Step 1. Is it possible to use acrylics + thinner instead of Tamiya paints? I'm asking because I can't get Tamiya ones here in my country, but acrylic paints are everywhere. 3. "Tamiya wheatering master" are that special materials... or are they rebranded wives make up? 4. When you finish, do you need to use another top coat? How can I prevent the paint from peeling when touched?
Thank you for watching.🙂 I would like to answer your questions as follows. 1. Thinner does not destroy every piece of plastic. But I can't control it. The coating can protect, but not 100%. 2. You can use other brands of acrylic paint and enamel. You can use lighter fluid instead of thinner. 3. You can use powder paint instead. 4. You don't need to coat the surface. But you shouldn't touch it often.🙂
Veri nice!
What acrylic paint color did you use for dry brushing?
general acrylic paint color
@@nottoscale6529 thank you very much! I'm excited to try weathering, I'm just waiting for the paints I ordered to arrive. Thank you for the inspiration, looking forward to your future builds!
Wowwww very very nice I am just learning how to do this and get into this hobby. Can you point me in the right direction on where to buy these figures and gear at? Like maybe a website
I bought from the group Facebook in my country. But you can buy them in bulk in your country or buy them from Aliexprees. But the price is quite expensive.
This was amazing to watch I’m getting into this hobby myself just as of recently I was wondering where to purchase some of these figures and gear at can you point me in the right way do you have any recommendations on where to buy and what the price should be? Thank you for anyrecommendations I am also a subscriber now. Great job.

Great weathering job
Ayy,I have HyGogg and Acguy bro
Hi! Great work on the weathering! I have a question, did you coat before applying the enamel paint or just apply it on bare plastic?
Yes, I coat before applying the enamel paint.
Thanks for the response, which coat do you use/ recommend to use? Gloss or matte? @@nottoscale6529
Semi gloss.@@exalteddd
Cool video!! What else did you "add" when you mixed the flat brown and flat black (XF-10 and XF-1)??
Tamiya Thinner X-20
Amazing! What varnishes/coats do you use before the enamels?
Semi-gloss coats.
@@nottoscale6529 Thank you, do you have a favorite brand?
Is that flat brown mixed with black? It looks very black
Yes. Ratio 1:1
Also, you claimed that X20 thinner can break plastic. How do u combat that than? Do u just take apart the whole thing and clean the Brown Weathering, or do u just use tiny amounts at a time?
I repair it if possible. Most have problems with connection points.
I'm not going to lie. I've watched the majority of your model kit vids within the last few days. You're definitely worthy of major views. And my main channels to watch r ppl like G studio, EA Gunpla & whatnot. Keep it up bro seriously. I can see you becoming a bigger channel in the Model Kit scene
Thank you 😃
this channel is FIREE!! subed!
Awesome video, did you use the earbud once the paint dried or when it was still wet?
Is this the hygogg that the pirates use? From gundam the noble shroud?
Nice job I like how you use the tamiya weather kitt at the end... it's important to do that last it's a wax base product.
Super dope! What kits did you use for weapons and gear?
Vest - Damtoys , Gun HK 416 - Mini time , Jacket - E&S , Combat pants - E&S , Body - E&S. 🙂
@@nottoscale6529 thanks so much! Keep up the good work!
