Beast is a great card!! 🤩

In order to add him, something would have to come out For 3 ink and only giving 1 lore, I don't think there would be anything worth taking out. Unlike Benja for steel, he gives 2 lore. Wildcat for 3 ink and only the 1 lore (granted he can take out more than one item, he prob wouldn't be on the board very long anyway) This deck wants to try win quickly, and having characters that can give 2-3 lore, and others that can help control the board be hard to take something out for him ...sorry been sick last week or so, (going through the house) so I hope my answer makes sense lol

Unfortunately at the time I made this video, that ruling was unknown, otherwise I definitely would have mentioned it With that said however, moving damage around hasn't really impacted the meta yet I'm still trying to find a way to make the new maleficent viable, but she just dies so quickly. Since that's all I seem to pull for legendaries lol.

I haven't watched Encanto, but my daughter did, and she likes it Hoping this may peak her interest in the game I am loving the art work on this set so far so Even the box design is great

Your box is likely second print, so the cards have the correct text on them The first run of the first chapter has the cards with the incorrect text. I don't think it's very rare tbh. They reprinted lots of first chapter since, and it all should be fixed, with the exception of Simba enchanted I believe, as they said they won't be fixing that. Probably so not to drive the original price up I assume. Don't think I've seen much discussions in the box codes Tbh there have been some printing issues as I've seen a lot of cards with typos, misprint, etc out of the packs Don't know if that helps

alright so ive done my research and it turns out mine is first print the 050523 is the date and ive found the cards pulled from an old box ii opened up with the same code in the beginning and they have the error cards with the missing print, thanks for your insight tho this was educational for me and for you to ii hope ! @@CardZstation-ch7ho

I did not know this. That does make sense...and I do feel pirates have been getting better and better I'd love see some pirate love from Treasure planet Pirates not all that bad since ink lands released Not meta yet, like brooks, but over time just like the Brooks, they may become a powerful thing

Oh man, I wonder if we'll get another Jim Hawkins. I hope to see some more locations synergy, and pirates

...and actually I hope to see a better Captain Amelia ability Maybe something for emerald or ruby

@@CardZstation-ch7ho For characters from the underrated masterpiece that haven't appeared in Lorcana yet, hopefully we'll get Dr. Doppler, B.E.N., Mr. Arrow, Sarah Hawkins, Captain Flint, and even all the pirates of John Silver's gang! And for locations, we should get the BennBow Inn, the Montressor Spaceport, and of course, Treasure Planet itself!

You are right, you cannot have more than 4, There is only 4 madam Mim snakes in this deck, and pixelborn won't let you put more than 4 in a deck, with the exception of the puppies which you can have 99 of

I see the confusion Did not realize that had 5 on the dreamborn ink It actually put me at 61 cards lol It been fixed as there can only be 4 Tbh didn't even know you could put in more than 4 A simple typo of a mistake, and it been corrected now Glad you pointed that out Much appreciated 😊

That is a good question. I have no idea, maybe played Jafar for the card draw? It is things like that, that will cost you games One thing I always like to do if I lose is look back at my games and see at what point did I lose, and try to learn from that. A lot of times it can be earlier in the games, and in this case for that game, could be why on turn 4 he lost

Ya, that was one issue I did find with it. Went all in on the floodborn for that discard effect. Now that Inklands is out, along came Zeus would make a good fit for it

it’s statistically 1/96 packs across all products. I’ve opened quite a lot, pulled 4 enchanted

I know, that's what people say, but there are those who open 300 and get nothing, and others who get one every second day Completely random. Though I don't know where people get the 1/96 packs from because no where does it state this, and if you buy by the case, your still not guaranteed one because people have gotten cases and not gotten one

We personally don't keep enchanted, we sell to anyone who is local first and then to our LGS. I say sell to chase the other cards 😅

Wow that's unreal. Been hearing that some boxes have 0 legendaries. That does not seem right Has this happened before with previous sets? I am not aware. Even 8 for a case seems low

@@chags3512 if that is the case, shouldn't they do something about it? Idk if you have the box with the number to prove, it, send it back to them and have them send ya some boosters or something Idk, just seems like poor quality control and bad for HR

@@CardZstation-ch7ho agreed. Apparently it’s only “most” of the boxes in a certain serial number range, not all so I don’t know if consumers have much of a leg to stand on. Still very poor PR if they don’t do something to refund or give additional credit toward more product or something.

While it is gambling, usually when you buy a box, you expect something May not be something great, but you still expect something I don't know for MTG, or Pokemon, but is it possible to buy a box with them, and get no big hits? To get nothing but rares, seems like a pretty big waste of $$$ just for some cardboard, and nothing probably even worth trading at that

I am so sorry to hear that. That really sucks How many players you come across have resist? They all running cogsworth? What ended up winning? Card draw is a problem with emerald steel. One reason why I had the Huntsman in the deck was just for fishing I've updated the deck since and took out the Huntsman, and I believe I also put in "Striking a good match" I figured a lot of people will be taking this deck into consideration when making a competitive tournament deck. Things with resist and ward will be tough I've also beaten this deck using super fast aggro on pixelbor, ending the game before my opponent can get to turn 7 Unfortunately right now with this deck there is no way to ramp, so your looking at turn 7 before you can pull this off

...also I really hope wasn't a Jafar whole new world that won I want see something new and more original in top spots ...again I'm sorry to hear you didn't do well Is there anything you could have done differently? Used different cards etc to have a better chance?

@@CardZstation-ch7ho For me I just had very bad luck at first. But a couple times I ran out of card draw and didnt have any think to ink or play for a couple turns. Of course Whole New World would have helped. Once I switched to just focusing on getting as much of the combo I could in opening hand, and limiting my card play, it gave me a better chance to finish the end game quick. I lost both rounds to Sapphire Steel, 2 against Ruby/Amethyst (Lady tremaine, Medusa and Be prepared hurt), 2 against Emerald/Amber (Discard and Genie bouncing my beast), won against Steel/Ruby. But certainly getting any amount of card draw or searching can really help, especially if your Beast gets removed before you drop the final two pieces. Weirdly one of the games I ran, I could have fired the combo turn 8, but the 4 lore Robin Hood, plus a Benja and relentless won it either way.

@@XtremeAsFanatic you have morph and tragic beast? One thing that has helped me was getting to shift tragic beast oh turn 3 ...and Bayou early. Yes opponent will take it out, but may help get some card draw, and hopefully pull it again There is a guy at our locals who is planning on running this combo, so it'll be interesting to see how it does Most aren't as competitive in our league night, but it shall be interesting

@@CardZstation-ch7ho The two decks in the final were still Ruby/Amethyst. My son was one if them, he ended up taking second. Though he would have won had he not forgotten to add his lore from a land on a turn. Both were quite different builds, and both did very well.

I guess because it's just an auto win when you get into play. Your not wrong, it's not infinite, but if you can do it in most cases to go from 0-20.... It's just what most end up calling such a combo It cannot sustain itself if your opponent has no characters on the board, but either way, if you clear his board by this point it's very likely game over It's a fun combo, but it not unbeatable I've beaten it now a few times, being on the other side of the fence using Jim Hawkins, ...and to be fair some have played it badly. Along came Zeus is a great card in dealing with it In my Jim Hawkins deck, I hold on to that if I feel that's what I'm up against. ...also found Jim Hawkins and his ship can help against the new Jafar Still playing around with that deck, but I'm thinking that might be my next video ...and on a different note, I'm liking Jim Hawkins

Yes, but it really hasn't been that hard to pull...so far anyway, but that will likely change as people find more ways around it There is no way to ramp it up, so your looking at turn 7 By then you've likely gained some pts on the board, plus your other characters. By the time you get this out on turn 7, you can wipe your opponents board, and if you have to finish off with your remaining characters ...even if you can't, your now in total board control, so unless they have something like be prepared...it's a tough battle ...and as many have said, it can be dealt with, so it's not overly frightening once you know what to expect

@@JAG19d yes it is, but not everyone plays resist ...so this is how the meta will shape If everyone plays resist, they'll lose to the other decks. You could play resist and never even play against it depending on match ups If everyone is playing it, then yes resist, will do well, but what do you do if you encounter Jafar, or Hawkins, or who knows what else Could be bad match up if your putting all your eggs in a basket to beat one type of deck What I love about this combo is it will help form a meta You know people are going to play this, but will they win? Probably not, but not everyone will have resist, and maybe some will I hope to see a diverse meta I've done quite well against it so far with Jim Hawkins, and steel Testing out Jim with emerald, but idk, along came Zeus is a good card It's great because it's enough to take out the beast, but also mostly anything else if you don't come across beast, and locations

If running sapphire, you have a good chance if you can get cogsworth out as the resist +1 will prevent the ping from then Sheriff, thus relentless beast can't keep resetting. I have beaten Ruby/Amethyst a few times now once the combo hits the board, I win. Discard deck I think would also stand a good chance, because you can't pull off the combo if you have no cards I do love the discard decks, so I'm currently playing around with a couple variations

No...I don't think it broken, nor an exploit There are a few ways to counter this Ward, resist, discard decks. ...but I definitely think it'll help shape the meta going forward

Most definitely Even if this deck doesn't become a top tier, I think it has the chance of still doing well, which in turn will help shape a meta so to speak Definitely looking forward to all the madness that will happen at the official tournament scene
