I adore TF2, still play Attrition and the campaign to this day, but man there was something super innovative about this combination of story and multiplayer

Titanfall 1 will always be the best Titanfall game in my eyes.

I liked how they made multiplayer into the story mode but it they kinda ruined it with how whoever wins doesn't really change the outcome of the story.

What sucks about this game is that you could see bits and pieces of the amazing game it could've been if EA hadn't screwed up the team. The moons are genuinely horrifying in both concept and execution but the game they're in just has so much problems both in gameplay and writing. Tau Volantis is a cool setting after being on space ships/stations for the past 2 games and some of the new necromorphs like the feeder are really cool. Ashame the game forgot that they're meant to be sneaked around. The unitologist soldiers are such a lame addition but if they were like the cultists from the dlc story it would've been a lot better. And don't even get me started on the love triangle

There is a vibe that tf1 capture so well compared to titanfall 2. Better movement, more weaponry to toy with, but the original sequel maps sucks imo. Tf 1 maps on the other hand is so memorable, the interaction between AI feels more alive, and oh the goddamn beautiful skybox and the dynamic stuff out of bounds, it feels legitly like an all out war with context.

The two Militia titans on “The Three Towers” are Droz and Davis, who can be seen in Titanfall 2 as the “6-4.”

I played all of those missions in TF1 multiple times, and imma be honest i never got any of the story except for my babygirl Barker being thrown down a manhole xd. The story multiplayer missions was a cool concept, and thanks for compiling all of it, but i can see why it didnt stick.

The multiplayer campaign wasn't liked all that much, yet how would the battle of demeder feel if it was a single-player mission?

I never bothered playing the tf1 campaign back in the day and I definitely regret it, this was nice to watch through especially with all the cinematic views of the story events you put in. Here’s hoping respawn decides to do something with the Titanfall name other than milk it for apex

I really wished people would see how much better this game was than the sequel and apex

I used to be into the IMC when I was young, now that TF2 came out and how the militia is portrayed was more foreshadowing than anything.

Man...I'd settle for having Titanfall 1 with badly designed bots to fill in the pilot slots. Miss this so much..

50:00 there was cut content for the wildlife to be able to wallrun, doublejump and excecute pilots - what an awesome way to contextualize both the terrain and the mechanics

man I loved the structure of the campaign in tf1. I get why they switched to a more traditional version in 2 (and that was great) but it does lose the punch of context to the multiplayer matches.

Titanfall 1 has a more militarized "The Expanse" feeling.
