I have the Fortin Evostart 2 with andriod app. installed in my 2013 Acura TL. Same shut off issue when you open the door. This did not happen with my older Infinity Q50 with same module installed.. . Hate the shut-off in winter.
Don't think they were sold up here in Canada for a good reason. No AWD.. Can't do rear wheel drive in winter. Too bad. This would be my next daily after my modded 2013 Acura TL SHawd.

Not sure where you're at but QuikTrip occasionally has Ethanol-free 91 Octane, which is what I try to source for my GS. It's the red pumps.

Most people probably can tell my GSF is a Lexus by the badge, probably think it’s just another V6 GS. They start looking hard when they hear my aftermarket exhaust!😂😂

Anyone “confusing” a GSF with a Camry or any Hyundai is either trolling,hating, or simply has no clue about cars. I have a 2014 GS350 and no one has ever said such a thing. Furthermore, I’ll take a Lexus over Scatpacks, Hellcats, or whatever any day!!
The New Lexus IS 500 V8 is better is lighter, faster, newer exterior, newer interior and newer tech. The IS will never get discontinued like how the GS is.

Great video man. What are your thoughts on gs300s vs gs400s? Mpg seems pretty average across the board but how about reliability? It's so hard to find a lower mileage clean gs400 here in California. They're all 200k+ with torn interiors or body damage.
Stock for stock I'd go gs400 all day. The 1UZ is arguably more reliable and it's pretty easy to work on and it is a workhorse.

Owned my GS f over a year now and agree with everything he says. Being a sleeper makes it more fun and doesn't cause attention from the wrong crowd (police) having the rarity value makes it more special. Yes it cost a lot new but so does quality

@@2URGSE honestly, from the inside of the car I don't notice a difference. There is no drone or anything paired with the stock mufflers. The cold starts are fantastic imo. If you want a decent sound and nothing too extreme without breaking the bank it's worth a try.

What are the full specs of your wheels plus offset
If you put some 10mm spacers on the back, it’ll match the fitment on the front. Gs’s front wheels poke out more than the back
I'm on my 23rd lexus (gs450h) and still have my 98 gs300 on wheels/coilovers. Bought a destroyer gray charger scatpack literally 2 months before covid hit. Car was fun, but with only 30k miles on it the build quality was trash and had tons of flaws that drove me nuts. Sold it when prices shot up after covid and made a profit. I've been waiting for GSF's to drop more in price, but they seem to hover around 50k still. Was looking at the LC500 as well, but I feel the GSF will be a collectors car in 10yrs with low production numbers and still a solid daily if you wanna go that route. My next car will be one! @AutoMatticMatt 🤣 🤣 🤣...lol..my bad..im just the type of dude to keep it stock..all thru the 90s I owned several coupes from the 1993 SC400 lexus, the 94 acura legend coupe(with the type 2 engine), the bmw 840ci when it was exclusive, the 1993 big body Mercedes 500SEC(way b4 the started calling it S500 coupe)...I never modified one car..lol..I also have no loyalty to brand..I buy different cars for different reasons ans occasions..the lexus for reliability and long term and mopar for straight line speed..but the new gen kids are messing up the mopar name with how they rag and abuse their cars...lol..I like sleepers like the LC500, the IS500 and the GSF..they're not the fastest but they're stylish and reliable..plus living in NY I could never use all 500hp and 700hp in the scat and hellcat..too much traffic, too many bad streets, too many new drivers, too many speed traps, etc..
I dont mean to talk shh... but u bought a 40k car and put 1300$ rims on it... the oems are better at this point

The Lexus fan boys will get mad because they're narrow minded. I sold my rcf because at 45k for a 10 year old car that was advertised as a performance car, fell flat on the performance aspect. Brand new at 70k (mine was optioned to $80k), so many other options to choose from. I can't believe people defend reliability and use it as an excuse for lack of performance. Picked up a c7z and never looked back

To say the rcf has a lack of performance when there isn't many other na v8's to compare it to is crazy business. @@AutoMatticMatt you're fresh to the platform, you'll find out soon. Dozens of companies (including boostlogic) have tried to do a kit for the F platform with no luck. There's only RR RACING and their shitty kit/service blowing up engines left and right. I waited 4 years for these promised kits just for them to never arrive. A 15 year old platform that can only manage fbo and a "tune" is very sad. I do want another Lexus in the future, but for daily purposes, definitely not going to get my hopes up in the performance aspect. I was willing to drop 15k on. SC kit if they ever came out with it (would put the pricing in total at what a c7z is worth now days)

@@HtriZzy_ well that is the difference between us. A car does not have to have 700+ hp for me to enjoy it. If I needed that I would have went to another platform to begin with. Im a Lexus fanboy but honestly I just like cars. The character of the proven high rpm n/a v8 is what sold me and I'm happy with it. These cars hold their value for a reason.

This Lexus looks damn near around what my dream is for my gs430! Same type of grey paint with black rims, tint, blacked out taillights and headlights with lime green brake calipers, professional looking neon lights and lime green window decals for matching accent! Good question! Love the name by the way 🤣. So it does give you feedback in the stock grom android ui. You can turn the feedback on or off on that side. BUT, when you go into android auto or car play it does feel dead. There is no feedback and no way I've seen to turn it on. I was hoping they would fix that in an upcoming update.

Hey bro I see you have your daughter in a car seat. I’m considering upgrading to a GSF because my rear facing car seat in my IS350 makes me move the front passenger seat all the way up lol. How was the space in the car with a rear facing car seat ? Did you have to move anything ? Is it comfortable for the front passenger seat?
Good question. I usually don't put her car seat behind me because I ride with my seat all the way back. But yesterday I got in the passenger seat in the same position I load the car seat in and didn't have any issues. My is350 is too small for me to do that at all.
