I tried this. It worked ! Now I have pictures. However, the the CPU runs 175 F and the RSX runs 134 F. I think the uneven pressure is causing this. I try to put penny on the CPU, but no picture again. lol

I am now in 2024 and this method worked for me thank you

Hi, i recently jailbroke my ps3 and when i was done i shut it down, now when i try to turn it on it gives me a green light(but no beep) the controller wont connect, theres no display, and i cant turn it off without pulling the plug. Any advice?

Fixing a broken BGA connection applying extra force from the top. As soon as that connection is broken again (oxidation on the surfaces of the cracked ball) your PS3 will GLOD again.

Maybe you got a loose hdmi port or broken hdmi cable.

I’ve just got this. Starts and then you can hear the fan stop and the green light flashes. Hopefully it’s just the thermal paste and nothing too serious. Just as long as I manage to get it working again to save my saves I’ll be good.

A mi me pasa el mismo problema, el tema que yo la tenía chipeada y no se podía actualizar hasta que fue actualizada y después empezó hacer lo mismo, prende pero no da nada de imagen la tv ni nada, probé con otra fuente y tampoco nada. Vs pudiste encontrar alguna solución?

It's not a GLOD it's because your video settings were set wrong. Holding it down once reset it already...
