You're missing the worlds greatest china cymbal - 18" Wuhan Koi Conical Dark China No I am not joking. There is nothing better sounding. Not even kidding. It's also one of the cheapest at $160.

One of the heads is labeled wrong. It's not a Powerstroke Clear. It's a Powersonic Clear. A big difference from a Powerstroke Clear.

Great video and comparison. These are a bit outta my prince range except maybe the Speed Cobra but probably all are a bit much for my needs. For me, it’s more the DW 5000 or Tama IC 900 Power Glide. Great content!

The PowerStroke 3 would be my choice. The Emad 2 and Powersonic also sound great. I've been using the SuperKick 2 for the past couple years and really like them. The reason I went back to the Remo is because they're capable of greater dynamic range. I need the "cut" theu provide. The P3 and P4 will still have a great presence on a live, un-mic'd situation. The PowerStroke 4 is a two plu version of the P3. Two plies of 7 mil film, like an Emperor. I never the bass drum anymore. I tried but don't like it. I just need Ebony P3 resos, and a PowerStroke 3 or 4, and I'm all set.

Evans G2 Clear turned out to be the fattest bass drum sound i've had.

Cool sounds, some nice custom kits can easily be tweaked from here. Alesis has improved a lot!

I never understood the need for that low floor tom pad. There's no depth in the pad, why not put it on the rack? It's not like anyone will mistake these for acoustic drums anyway.

The Trick pedals you're playing aren't direct drive. They're chain. which is interesting, haven't seen those. but yeah, might be good to say the correct name of what you're being (whatever'd) to advertise!

my opinion: use stock stand, a low-end - midrange stand, or just go lightweight (check out tama classic hi hat stand, it is the only stand anyone should consider buying new imo). Only buy a nice stand if it is used/discounted, or if you want it for aesthetics to have matching footboards. hi hat stands are pretty simple, so don't waste your money with all of the marketing fluff features, as they just cost you money and are more points of failure. I get watching this video for fun, but for the love of god, don't waste your money on a dw 9500 or tama speed cobra 915, or anything similar, especially if you are buying new. save the $200-$300. it is not worth it.
