I'm curious if stores that get the opportunity to buy a barrel of stagg "jr" specifically pick the highest proof tasting barrel/sample option they're presented just to say they got a "very special" stagg single barrel and sell it for what is usually absurdity amounts of money. I seen someone trade his hazmat stagg and a Weller 12 for a GTS!

I’ve enjoyed my bottle so far, I like the tingle in the gums I get, it sure lingers. Usually warm up my palate with something lower proof and it gets really smooth. Got mine for $100.00, nice knowing a local distributor.

Pulled the trigg3r on this today One of the better whiskies I've had this year actually 🥃. I've had Stagg 23c, ECBP B518, michter's BS rye. Old forester 10 yrs & barrel strength. Also bunch of other Buffalo trace stuff that didn't hit for the price.

Just met a fella outside a local restaurant that brought me two bottles for $90 a piece, I couldn’t get the guy to bring me just one bottle so now I have two! Anxious to try it later this evening.. I may or may not pay that price for it again I’ll have to taste it and see! lol 👍🏻💯💯

I typically do the foil boat method as well but hardly have much jus left.. but that bark is phenomenal. I'm definitely going to do this with my next butt, maybe this weekend! Looks great and I bet it tasted great as well!!!
