DIY Simulator steering wheel tutorial
Hi guys, sorry for the long time, but now I am gonne to show you, how you can build this simulator steering wheel. As you can see I built a totally new one, why? Less complicated and cleaner design. The parts are easier to obtain and manufacture, full documentation. I don't like disassembling that what I've assembled once. 😊 In this description You can find the BOM list, schematic, 3d print files, laser cut pattern and machined part files in the link. With this video I would like to give ideas or inspiration for the DIY projects.

How much is the coupling? Can you give me the coupling file?
Unless you're experienced and fast at soldering, please do not solder headers stuck into your arduino. You will melt the female header on the arduino and ruin it. Also, solder headers from the outside inward, this lets heat dissipate avoiding melted headers.
How much torque?
Need you to do a direct drive set up with an emegency off switch. it'll be pretty awesome. from that a frame, and even later down the line a motion rig setup.
How much torque is you getting?
1:50 What is that whistling sound I can hear when you test the wheel? It also seems to be present when you drive afterwards, although masked by the car sound.
Perfect video, it's gratifying to see something made with your own hands, working perfectly. I'm from Brazil, would there be some kind of list, so I know if I can get the parts without needing import? It would make my life easier if it were possible, thank you friend
