Grand Theft Auto fits in the timeframe when everything was super crazy and all boundaries were pushed so far that there are no real boundaries left. 1997-2003. Some of the stuff from those days survives today but couldn't be started anymore.

I don't have any issue with endless DLCs if they and the game is good. A good example is Total War Warhammer 1-3, Stellaris. These games are like a live service because for many years they have a new DLC in each 2-3 months. In Warhammer, a campaign can easily last 100+ hours, so it is a really good deal for me. Stellaris is the same. In the last 2 years I only bought 2 games, Space Marine 2 and Sins of a Solar Empire 2, because I was happy with my old games' DLCs. Of course... this will not make companies happy.

Modern games don't suck to me. There are a lot that I'm not into, but that doesn't mean they suck. Just not my kind of thing. I've found a lot of new games interesting though.

I fail to see how Donald Love counts as a villain.

Bo3 and Bo4 had so much potential that was just blatantly wasted just because they hopped on some trends like double-jumping and battle royale modes.

Games suck because they are not fun anymore. Here is a great example. Do any of you remember a game called Knockout city? It was a dodge ball game that came out a few years ago. Now hear me out, no the game wasn’t ground breaking and I wouldn’t expect it to make the company billions of dollars, the point is it was fun. We all used to have multiple games we would switch between to have fun on each bring a unique joy to them. Knockout city was one of those games to me. It didn’t look like it cost a whole lot to make and it was fun. It didn’t need to be ground breaking just fun. That’s what games are lacking. Every game is this big spectacle and boring.

Days gone has to be the last actually fun and exciting story based game I’ve played and another victim of the modern attitude to games quite a fitting title aswell 😢

I'm a 90's gamer, and I still game. I think the problem is more the player than it is the compan, Yes these companies get to miss the mark a lot of the times, but I say that's on us. One min we are yes give us stuff to grind then later, the lazies cry about there's is too much to do in a game, they just want to "casually " get on and play... We send them mixed signals As for the COD games, I also blame that on us. We show how unhappy we are, yet we still buy their shit year in and year out... all to play with our friends. We are the problem, and we are getting worse. I noticed it more with a title like GT7 on PS5, a great motor sport game, man. But then you get guys who cry about how much the currency for a car or part to buy and they DONT want to grind the in-game races that are in a plethora because they state, we want more casual experience... Yea PD <the developer studio > is gonna listen and make changes, then the other base of motor sport dreamers will cry out. Why are you making this game so simple and boring. .. We are the problem

17:01, Big Smoke never was and never will be one of my favorite characters. I never liked him. None of his missions helped the Grove, and I found that to be traitor ish before we find out he actually betrayed us. Ryder on the other hand IS one of my favorites. And I wish we were able to k!ll Smoke first.

1. Lack of everything except graphics (No story, no epic OST, poor gameplay, etc). 2. Focus on $-making as top priority instead of game quality (p2w, in-game stores, scamboxes, artificial way of prolonging gameplay, etc).
