I would like to share my findings and thoughts on these cheap footpegs I purchased online at Ali Express for my Kawasaki VERSYS X300. With a little modification they seem a great alternative to the original. You can purchase your own set here: www.aliexpress.com/item/32966562227.html If you haven’t already, please Subscribe to my channel and click on the Like!

You sound aussie, so aren't you worried about getting caught with a 1000w motor?
Hello, what tooth ring was it, gave you had any issues over the years?
What do you use as a gps
An old One plus android phone and Google maps or other apps. Works well for me
@@TwistTheThrottle2024 what do I need to install to be able to charge a gps device or old phone while riding?
@@Johnsmithabcde 12v socket, usb cable to charge. Quadlock mount
Very quick delivery. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ I believe about 2 days before pre-purchase estimated delivery date. Easy to assemble. Extremely well built. Adjustable in every way to fit personal size. Rides great as peddle-only or with electric assist. Has a lot of power. Priced right compared to competitors. Love the bike. More info after having bike awhile. “This Folding Fat Tire is our second purchase from Ecotric. Seems to be a great company. They followed through with backing a problem I was having with ‘Too Fast Speed’ of this bike when compared to the 26” Fat Tire we purchased first. They sold me the same controller and display screen which I changed myself without much difficulty. Now the speeds are exactly like our other bike. Love the bike and the company. The only difficulty is contacting them for this issue. Their phones in Oakland CA won’t receive messages and so you have to wait on correspondence by email once per night. Still I give it a 5 star.”
I can work if I could got there thiefs
beautiful LANDs
Nice ride mate. I bought a 300 Rally couple of weeks ago and I've been doing much the same sort of rides as you are. Loving the bike, it's awesome in its simplicity and range of duties.
How far can you go in electric mode only on relatively flat streets ?
So many variables, I have a larger batter now about 30AH, it prob can do 100-150kms. I do about 80kms on extreme off-road mountains
I was gonna say bullshit... Then I heard the stats and remembered mines half that and I'm doin 25mph #Carreralife
Ahh,ok,i watch the description ,you got a little battery,i do understand better what i saw now...
Well done mate!
Thank you!
great spot and awesome vid mate, keep them coming on the CRF!
Thanks mate, loving my CRF!
Cool vid - lovely country
Thanks for the video! About to order a Bafang mid motor and now doing research. My questions: What size & brand are your new skinny commuter tires? Are the brake sensors installed for both sides or just that one right side ? What glue did you use? The USB cable is to reprogram the controller (not the display), or the motor, or both? And what are some restrictions that should be changed w throttle only mode? Much appreciate!
Your not alone in enjoyment:) I have a short video on the Versys x as well. All the best to you!
I don't feel like buying a new chain every 4 weeks anymore, shitty mid-engines.
really, that bad? what do they start doing? skipping a lot?
Don't charge while the battery is on the bike. There have been lots of fires while charging. $100 fine in Western Australia for not having a bell! I have hit 100 km/hr going down a 17% slope several times, that's without a motor as well.
At min 15 the walk feature is genius. Saved me carrying a 40-50lbs bike uphill and trough the woods. The BBSHD is rated at "cargo" it's heavy duty. You really don't to go much faster or worry about small weight differences. This machine is a beast!
I know it's been a while, but do you remember where you ordered your thumb throttle. Great video by the way.
how many teeth is the front chain wheel
Hi how is the bike after 6 years? Anything new advice
I have this same set-up. But don't have a throttle. Only pedal assist. You're range and speed dovetails with what I can keep track of. You say that pedal assist gives you about 60% of the available power and the throttle gives you all available power. I believe you, and I can see that in your video when you use the throttle. I love this system. No complaints at all. Fastest I've been is 40+MPH going down a hill. Roll between 15-20MPH all the time with very little effort. Nice video. Thanks for making it.
How the heck do you hit almost 40! Lol I have a 48 volt 17amp hailong with lekkie 42 front chainring on a 29nr lucky to hit 23mph
1000th Sub ;)
Thanks so much 🙏
Yep, you'll be swimming away from that one
Wise move. 👍
What`s the point to convert a bike to e-bike without using pedal`s? Why don`t You buy electric scooter or e-moped.
Because I like having the option to pedal or go full throttle when needed. I can also take this bike off-road or up steep terrain where you could only dream of going and cover it all n about an hour or 2.
An excellent review, all the information you want to know about this kind of setup concicely and clearly delivered, thanks.
I know im a bit late, but what was the throttle you used? And maybe the handlebars on the bike? Thanks
Well done. Nice area with beautiful scenery. 👍
0:31 - Epic burnout...
That's Canberra mate
Great video! Hot bike and hot guy too 😊
Cool video! Look forward to many more.
Excellent video. Beautiful scenery, plenty of great places to venture on the versatile Versys. 👍
Thanks mate, had some great inspiration from your channel. Top little bike, loving every moment on it
Be wary of Bafang. Mine worked great for about a month and then the problems started. Started working with Bafang to troubleshoot the issue. By the time they decided it needed to be sent in, it was after the crappy 90 day warranty. Now I'm stuck with $1400 worth of junk.
I've been running a BBSH on a converted Marin muirwood for the last 5 years. 12000 Kms and still going strong. Daily commute of 32.kms with some hills. Penut buttered my reduction gear in the first few months but that was because I was running to hard in to higher gear at lights. Battery still good and easily gets me on average to work around 45 kph . Can still tip out a bit over 60.if I'm feeling dangerous! Probably changed rear cassette and chain almost every year (COVID slowed that a bit! With working from home)👍
Had this bike since 2016, only thing I managed to destroy was a controller by going up too steep of a mountain climb about a year ago. Its still a beast
Hello 👍 ,, you can change the pin (motor) that enters the frame of the bottom bracket,!? Let me explain,. I took the 100mm but, Pultroppo with the dissosamento chain crown house we are not there. He strains too much arrived at the 9 speed, from 10-11 goes hard and eats the iron. Since I have a 148×12 mtb wagon. No more margin even with picnic crown that I recovered 5mm .. Nothing! It doesn't work. So I would like to try on my old 26 rockrider 5.2 mtb Che a
So close to 1000 Subs... Nice vid mate!
Thanks
42T or 46T, which one is better ?
I like your set up I got the 500c display with my bbshd because it's all in one I actually got the programming cable so I could have full throttle all the time no matter wot pedal assist I'm in good video man 👍🏾💯
That's awesome. I guess your top speed is limited to the maximum speed you could get on the smallest cog wheel. Did you ever have any issue wit the cops ? I would put a sticker on the battery that says "250W" :D
I get tgat out of 750 watt so2.
I have been getting all information I can about BAFANGS motors and about the different batteries I can use before I order mine. Your video has been the best video I have seen so far. I think I don’t need to see any more videos after yours. Thank you. Nevertheless I have few questions. How many teeth has the new chainring? It looked to have less teeth. Is it made of aluminum or steel? I would like to get the smallest chainring that fits because I usually do extreme extended climbing and I don’t want to force the motor. I am not interested in speed. Only interested in climbing. Another question: Can you use a 52V battery with that very same motor? Thank you. I gave you a thumb up very well deserved and I subscribed too. I live in Southern California. This area is a paradise for mountain bikers. Thanks again.
What kind of controller are you using?
Stock standard inbuilt controller
Not sure the brakes on these conversions were designed for this speed.
Where did you get that read fender? That is pretty sweet.
that didnt look anywhere near 40mph speeds lol either your display is bugging or this is faker than the moon landing
Excellent review! Just wondering if you had to modify your bottom bracket? Did you need an adaptor? Cheers.
Fast enough to outrun Grizzly Bears.
update us on the bike!
too much money, for 1K more I can get a Honda cub and, go farther and faster. I don't see the attraction. perhaps if the price was lower.
