    Could you tell me which hose connects to the port with the blue dot? Is it the hose that runs down by the kickstand? My tank is marked with a blue dot but my hoses are not so I’m not sure which way to connect them. Great video

      @@sichisensei it's interesting you should say that. I've been in Thailand for a year and was using 10w40 in my Vulcan. It kept burning out after only 2,000kms due to the variables you mentioned. I switched to 15w50 liqui moly street, made a big difference to the way it rides.

    • @sichisensei
      @sichisensei 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JustSomeExpat yes bro, the higher the viscosity, the more heat it can manage, good for heavy long rides

    • @JustSomeExpat
      @JustSomeExpat 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sichisensei right? The 15w50 has worked a treat here in this climate. Smooth, a touch quieter, clutch still slips but the Kawasaki dealer here used one of those EBD or EDB or whatever kits. Thing slips hard when it gets hot. Aside from that the oil grade change was worth it.

      I've traveled the Philippine provinces and not all road conditions are created equal. Encountering some gravelly, muddy, and dusty conditions does not suit the stock dunlops of the vulcan. I'm actually looking for dual sport tires at the moment to replace the stock tires for this reason.
