These are biomechanically the most basics movements you can do for your shoulders! And they are to prevent injury, if you already have one you need specific training for that

There’s other directions to train the rotator cuff too. There’s 3 planes of movement (while the video shows one). Also you can mix in some static holds too. Been dealing with shoulder impingement for months and these helped greatly
@@geteducatedyoufool4563 there are a lot of movements that target the rotator cuff 🙌🏽💪🏽, but these are the basics that target all 4 muscles (suprasinatus,infraspinatus,teres minor&subscapularis), and is really all you need to warm up before a shoulder workout. If you have a specific injury or weak spot there are more compounded movements of course! But sticking to the basics is the best The short shows all 3 planes (saggital, horizontal and coronal)

Yeah, a quick workout is never going to include barbell squats if you actually are somewhat good at them. Takes way too much time warming up and resting between sets.
@@YaStarz i never said you have to do squats, and it depends on what your goal is if you need/want much rest in between! Everyone’s different. And sometimes you only have time for a 20min quicky and you do it because of your mental health, not to gain strength 🌸
