When things surprise you by fixing themselves..take the win! 😄👊🏼 I rebuilt my Fireblade carbs recently, all 4 floats were gummed and jammed in place, the float bowls were green and slimy, and the pilot jet/main jet was blocked.. Modern fuels just hate 90s bikes.. We can’t get ethanol free fuel in the UK, so I now remove the ethanol from the fuel I put in my bikes.. It’s a messy job, but worth it

Get your self an auxiliary fuel tank in plastic , they are like 40 bucks and it will help when your synchronizing the tank, knowing you , you will sell it

Do electrolysis to remove the rust out of the tank

Definitely Not As complicated as i expected. I have a 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11 and was quoted $1000 to remove and clean the carbs as the bike was sitting for a while. Haven't attempted to start the bike but being pre-emptive. I got my fuel tank professionally cleaned and repainted/sealed because it was rusted. I had a new internal fuel pump installed and fuel gauge assembly. New battery, the starter works and the ignition switch is good. But now i am going to do this myself and just take my time with the manual and videos. I will check if you have one but if you have a video of you removing the carbs from the bike as well that would be great as a reference of which fuel lines to disconnect and then reconnect and the screws/bolts.

All balls kits are rubish!!dont buy them!!all the gaskets will swell in contact with gasoline...o-rings wont fit...100% rubish!go for oem,tourmax or keyster!

Thanks for showing the adjustment screws on your spare carb. was having a hard time finding those. p.s. on the ebay sync tool the front glass cover should pop off and you can adjust the needle with the flathead screw. it takes some prying with a flathead, but the cover on my cheap gauges pop off.

REVISITED FOR A REFRESHER, NO MAIN JETS, WRONG SIZED DIAPHRAGMS, no number pilot jets, $20 bucks for a bowl gasket X4, that is some high quality chinesium crapolium ya got there sir...... (like i didn't expect some hiccups along the way) too GD Funny man. A trick to cleaning those pilot jets is to heat up the straw a bit, draw it out (to form like a small funnel) AND THEN CUT IT TO GET INSIDE THOSE JETS REALLLLY GOOD. Sure am glad you quantified the video by saying "I'm not a mechanic" ROFLMFAO ........ bruh this is quite the comedy show. Thought maybe cause I didn't watch it all the way thru the first time I may have missed something and ya know what I DID. I missed all the laughter ................ OMFG too hilarious. Now ya know WHY "we the willing led by the unknowing have done something with nothing for so long we are now qualified to do anything with nothing"

Both are very nice bikes in an outstandig condition. But the Kawasaki ZX7 is a J-Modell, not as you said, a L-Modell. the L-Modell had not these air-hoses, but therefore an real ram-air-inlet on the lower left side of the frontfairing. Best regards.

This color combo os my favorite kawi ever, the 750 and 900 in green and blue beautiful. When bikes styling was best. All brands looked great I 90s, one glance you knew the brand. Not like today's angular cookie cutter styling.
