Rolex, used to be appealing, but now every mother lover has one. I don't know how many rolexes I saw at the airport just the other day, everyone of them was a "look at me" crypto type guys. rolex used to be good taste...nowadays it is flashy and a bit tacky.

I agree completely! The root beer is my next watch. I also agree that the travel companion with it would be the bad girl. My purchase history was Explorer, Explorer 2 and then a Sub date. Congratulations! That’s a beautiful watch.

I've got the 40mm ceramic sub and DJ41 with the Azzuro Blue dial. With these 2 , just about every occasion or activity is covered. I personally prefer the stainless over the two tone DJ. I also prefer the DJ over the DayDate as well. What is going to be difficult in the future is deciding whether to keep my sub or not when I get my hands on a Batgirl GMT. Congrats. I picked up my first GMT (Zombie/Guinness) from the AD window (no wait list) about 3 weeks ago. Luckily my AD allows me to keep the stickers on so I am wearing it now fully stickered as not to scratch it lol. They have done this with other pieces I have bought too. Bit weird your AD wanted you to take off the stickers rather than them doing it for you.

the watch market is way down, stocks are way up. Don't feel too special anymore...lol. Noticed on bucherer they are reducing omegas by like 50%.

dont know where you looking gray market prices but on this particular model in todays market you can get it below retail, thats why you can get it waaay easier.

Personally I’m gonna go with a SS DJ and rootbeer. It’s opposite of what you have as the sports watch is precious metal but that’s just how it happened. The first watch the AD offers you usually a SS DJ…
